I've tried placing the peg at the half way mark of my foot (at the arches), but even that doesn't feel fully comfortable. For me, the natural angle of my ankle is 2-3 cm below where the brake paddle is, anything less will cause a strain eventually.

So again, the question remains: is the brake paddle angle adjustable?

I guess you can loosen/bend the lever a bit. But, the way you guys put your feet under the brake lever might be catastrophic some day! It hardly takes half a sec for me to move my feet forward, almost the same (or maybe less) than you having to bring it over the pedal from underneath it. Add to that, you run the risk of your shoe lace getting entangled in the lever with your action.

Hello Guys,

Anyone here using Gelpads on the seats instead of regular cushioned seats? if yes any idea/ details.
I've been facing terrible issues with ZMR seats, which is taking a toll of my tailbone (while riding I've tendency to move my butt to change the posture to make it relax) though I've changed the existing seat with regular ZMA-R seat but issue is still persist, sounakray who'd ridden my ZMR he as well mentioned that it is way to stiff compare to his ZMR...
I am going to add extra 1 or 2cm of cushion this weekend or coming monday I would appreciate if i can get any information regarding gelpad or someone who've already done similar setup on ZMR, it would be great!

Gel seats are available in the form of gel pads. What you got to do is, remove the existing seat cover, place the gel bad on the seat, for a better fit you can slice off a small layer of existing foam( a few mm) and then put back the seat cover tightly, though gel seats give greater comfort they serve their purpose best only when bound together with the seat, such that there is no much wobble, if you try to place the gel pad separately on the seat thats when it's an issue it wobbles too much and causes more issues than any good.

Gel seat pads are available at biking spirit in blore, you could either call them or email them for details.

Also normally the ZMR seat is very comfortable unless ur riding continously for over 200kms, if the issue persists even at shorter distances I guess it's best you consult a doctor as there could be underlying reasons for tht pain apart from just the seat

I almost forgot to mention in my previous post, that consulted the doctor 3 weeks ago nothing found in Xr-ray neither it was something related to my posture as i am pretty much comfy while driving car or other scooters, it is the ZMR seat nothing else, I understand it may be weird as ZMR known for it's comfy saddle but my ZMR is exception, I've ridden other ZMR previously and even recently when i rode @sounakray's ZMR i found it much comfier than mine which made me to conclude that it was my ZMR seat!

thanks for your information though I will check with the dealer in blore or either in mumbai!

Well given you aee comfortable on other ZMRs I would suggest you once try replacing the existing foam of the seat or maybe adding another layer on it.

Further please check ur rear shock absorbers setting, it could be a possibility that it's set to hard settings and hence ur finding the discomfort only on ur bike

In my RTR FI many times while am going on a corner and when the center stand strikes the road my shoe's toe area will get a lot of scratches under the brake lever once I ended up with a toe nail breaking coz I went with slippers on a fast corner

I have no idea where I place my foot I never noticed

My shoe lase used to entangle with the gear lever most of the time... now days i dip my lase within my shoe itself to avoid it

won't be catastrophic coz am very cautious and bring my foot up in advance when there are traffic or some events occurring like a old lady wondering wether to cross a road or dogs or an oncoming vehicle is about to change lanes to wrong side

AmoghDox Ya, I also find the bare seats better than the seats with seat cover. Once, I sit on the bike, I've to adjust my butt 3-4 times before finding the perfect seating position. Usually, takes 4-5 secs. This I do evrytime I'm on the bike. Try it. But, once done the ride is vry vry plush & enjoyable. No probs @ all.
But, then again havin no seat cover has its own cons.

Guys can you please suggest some liquid wax polishes? I got a teflon coating done after the showroom guys had advised me about it, which is of no use. The gleam of the bike has faded and I'd like to use a wax polish for it to restore the beauty..

One of my friends told me about collinite 845. Any ideas/reviews about that?

why don't u try out the Meguiar's range, basically UQW or UQD. or Collinite 845 is also definitely a solid product.
or alternatively, u cud try out the wash & wax type of products. they myt not last for 3-4 months, but do the job for at least 1-2 weeks. I use the Armor All Wash &Wax. It does giv a beautiful wet luk to the bike.
or for cheaper alternatives, u cud go in for waxpol or car wash kits.

We have checked that first - both are set to the factory default of 2nd last slot. We even swapped just the seats of our bikes and rode for a few km. AmoghDox 's seat definitely has some problem. Even my bike felt hard with his seat, and his bike felt comfortable with mine. This clearly concludes that it's the seat that is to be blamed.

This is really strange since both out bikes were bought from the same dealer, just few weeks apart.
