The fuel pump has to be immersed in petrol always, right? So there has to me some amount of petrol after the reserve goes empty.

Fuel filter and pump are not immersed in the tank...

you can see them on top of starter motor, next to air filter cabin.

This is only in the case where the fuel pump is situated inside the fuel tank..

Why sorry? Not only you, everyone here thought the same as you til i was properly guided by [MENTION=32286]psr[/MENTION] sir. Ibused to get scared everytime the fuel gauge used to blink. So chill and this is the best place to learn and share knowledge. Nothing is right or wrong.

Well now days i am not posting on the ZMR thread; but tried to read as much as i can....has busy last 2/3 months....left job...searched job...new job....so busy in all those activities...even not getting time to get my ZMR service...

My ZMR has completed 4 year this month.....its into 35500 KM....

Will try to get into thread regularly..

He he he..and I am scared when ever I reply, since members think I know something . In ZMR the Fuel pump is situated outside the Petrol tank near the right side (gear shifter) panel....still the pump is inside a canister which gets filled with Petrol ,while in operation, hence Technically,the ZMR Fuel Pump is also living inside Petrol . It is always better to have at least 2 liters of Petrol in the tank...Only Exception being ,if you are not going to use the bike for 30 days or more, when you have to empty it.

I got my ZMR on 23rd this month! By far, pretty good experience.
Any idea for security system? What should I use for security for my bike other than handle lock?

Welcome to the club Niraj!

Avoid security systems that need wire cutting as it would hamper warranty. Get yourself disc locks. Cost upward of 4k all the way till 12k, but worth it.
