There is no kick start, so only option left is self start.

Any help? Been looking for the satisfactory answer since 2 years. Its always a problem during rainy season

Spark plug cap is faulty. Also, check the water drain pipe for dirt in its path under the tank.

P.S - for gods sake, do not spray pressurized water directly over the fuel lid, radiator and spark plug area on any bike!

can u guys temme where to look for spark plug, left or right as it is all covered.
drain pipe seems to be ok

A fuel pump pressurizes fuel and sends it through the fuel line to the fuel injectors. The fuel injectors atomize the pressurized fuel and inject it into the combustion chamber.

Just went for a service today and service engineer told me to clean the petrol tanks, that will solve things.. Any idea whether this is correct? The bike didn't stop since then and is running smoothly...

Lets hope for the best..

May be in your case the dust is creating a problem; so cleaning of fuel tank solved the issue. Keep an eye for few days..and problem still persists then may be some other issue i.e fuel pump..

Also, i found a post of Duke 390 for similar kind of issue and regular on duke...it get resolved cleaning the throttle body/injector ...

Changed to Veedol Super sift - first few KMs feels smooth and gear shift seems to easier than before.. Lets see and wait for few more KMs... Keeping my fingure crossed...

Veedol Swift is very good oil...

This time i managed to get the Gulf engine oil...buy three oil cans....will change it on service...

You words/sentences makes sleep well at night.... I bought 6 bottles of Veedol Super Swift... Has a weekend trip got canceled as I am bit worried about the fuel pump, need to monitor it for sometime before moving for a long trip... What say?

Dude. can you tell me where you got them from? I have been on a look out for both Veedol and Gulf but just couldn't get my hands laid on them

I feel my bike piston rings have gone bad. she's been drinking a little oil off lately from before my ride to Coimbatore.. No white smoke though.. what could be the reason for oil level to decrease? Last Friday, my bike suddenly stopped for no reason.. I hit the self 5 times and still the engine wasn't responding.. I turned off the ignition, opened the fuel lid and checked for fuel (I knew there was more than enough) and put the lid back after few seconds.. then she came back to life in the first self.. looked like some air lock in fuel line..

I was monitoring to see if that issue persists. Thankfully, it didn't (touchwood)

The P220 DTSi comes with 36T and the Dts-fi comes with 37T.. P200 Old model comes with 39T..

Veedol as i told you earlier..there is an shop near Ashram...

I got Gulf pride 10 w 30 from my office colleague..he get it from Gaziabad...
