      Engine must have burnt oil.. Or some leakage somewhere went unnoticed..

              O ring gone kaput. Check for smoke from exhaust. If nothing, its the seal/o ring.

                  No Smoke for sure.. I checked that first

                    The source of the leak is the o ring, so probably that's faulty I guess.. Experts please help..

                        no leakage present and engine hasn't burnt oil ( no smoke came ).that's what i bother thank you.

                        no.when i change oil i pour the oil until it comes to the TOP level.thank you.

                          Man 5-7 years is near future. Come on that is a distant future. The oil leak is from the tappet cover o-ring. While changing that o-ring tell that dumb head mechanic to not tighten with big wrench and with all his might as if his life depends on it. While tightening it just tighten it with fingers until it sits on the seat and cannot be rotated with finger. Then use a small open end spanner and give a light jerk. Thats it. No further tightening. Too much tightening is the reason for failure of that o-ring.

                          Who said you that in other oils head gasket leaks oil. It was some other problem in your bike which caused the head gasket to leak. I have used many oils in extreme and none has leaked. Oil varied from Hero oil, motul, Veedol 10W 30, Veedol super swift, Shell AX7, and Shell Advance Ultra fully synthetic. Running on Veedol 10 w30 from last 30k kms and no oil leak or gasket corrossion. Yours would be some defect in gasket and nothing else.

                          Hope you are recovering fine and quickly. That smoke is normal when bike is standing due to oil in rings getting burnt. Nothing to worry.And those who are worried about oil decreasing then let me tell you that you cannot see smoke when oil rings are gone and compression ring is ok. If you really want to see whether your bike is smoking then let me tell you how to see smoke. On neutral, rev the engine to 8k rpm and leave. Continue it for 4-5 ties by revving to red line and then leaving the accelerator. After 4-5 times, rev to redline and wait for 2-3 secs. Now you will smoke will come out. Try this and see if bike is smoking.

                            Exhaust Valve opening Nut "O" ring had become bad allowing oil to leak under pressure...you can either get the "O" ring alone(10/-) and change it , or get the entire bolt with "O" ring (50/-). it is a minor leak and will not cause loss in oil level . You can try Pulsar Valve closing nut ,which has a larger nut head . This will help in better torque while undoing it. Apply a bit of Fevi Bond Rubber solution at the neck on the "O" ring which will help give a better sealing. This will not lock the nut in place .

                              Last saturday I met up with kmk0311 finally



                              We had a great time checking out each other's bike. I felt his bike was more rev friendly through there was some more rattling noise. Kannan bro also helped me select my new helmet. Here it is with my other gears all from SPG



                              Will most more pics of my riding gear later.
                              The helmet sort of filters out the bad noises and adds to the overall feel of the bike. I love it though putting it on and off is a bit of an effort.

                                This query is for a friend,

                                He recently had the bike transferred from Bangalore to Hyderabad. His friend rode the motorcycle to the transporter to drop it. When the motorcycle reached it refused to start.
                                The service center guy told him that unit complete PGMFI Ignition sensor
                                This sensor costs 9000 rs and we want to be sure that this is the problem before buying that only to realise that there is some other problem.

                                If any one has any idea about this please do help us. Thank you in advance.
