I've already used nightbreaker plus which was not better than stock bulb
Your reply reminds me of the tagline: Paise ki kami nahi hai!
BTW, I'm a very satisfied user of Osram NightBreaker 55/60W bulb for 2.25 years now.

Actually i was using night breaker plus and its visibility was same as stock . Tried to adjust the beam many times but there was no improvement

      How's extreme vision , diamond vision ?
      I don't brake rules , I merely test their elasticity ;)

Today I decided to ride my bike after 3 weeks or so...

I found that the tripmeters both were set to 0 and the clock was giving wrong info.
It started all fine as usual... but I believe the battery died inbetween.

Please suggest if it is better to change the battery now itself? My bike is 1 yr 10 months old only. Only bad habit I have is I've let it go untouched for upto 3 weeks a few times. Otherwise I ridden about 12K. Also maybe the Osram Night Breaker took some toll on the battery.

Similar problem I faced today. Instead, while you started 3 weeks later, I was on the road riding, swithed off the engine while on red light and later ignited the engine. So on ignition(during self) I noticed meter go blank and trip meter were reset. I dont know what the problem really is.
There had been similar problems i once read in this thread and I dont know what the problem was or solution is. I hope its not FI going haywire, if thats the case, its hole in pocket worth 10k.
Another problem I've been noticing for the past 7-8 days is that Mileage is too low(No issue with performance and pickup).
If anyone could shed some light in this matter, that'd be very helpful.
          Thanks in advance.

Is your battery in good condition. How old is it?

I am getting 45+ kmpl consistently... So I definitely think it is the strained battery causing problem for me. Besides any issue in FI should bring on the Engine Check light I would think.

Normal light is lit during pre-ignition checking. No issues as such.
Not replaced the battery as of now, i bought the bike in Feb 18 2011.

Though it is not necessary, get a relay installed and power the bulb with thicker gauge wires. Might solve the issue. Offlate even I am facing low illumination even though i'm using 55w bulbs. I am planning to switch back to hid so not keen on installing relays.

Nightbreaker is one lovely bulb I had used earlier.

Guys, does the bike start if the ignition is pressed with full twist of throttle?

I reckon it won't, due to flooding of fuel.

Guys any idea how does the FI light behave in case it is faulty?

To add, my clock is also showing wrong time since the problem occurred.

There is a significant improvement with Nightbreaker plus its far better than the stock one .. The light distance, density and width of light emitted is a lot higher then the stock one!

What actually happens?? The FI light might behave awkward in case your sidr angle sensor is faulty or after a water wash.
