Upon using hids for a long time, both 6000k and 4300k, i can say that hid sucks big time. 4300k obviously is much better but again during rains, the visibility gets reduced a lot. They may seem to be bright but while on road and specially wet roads, visibility dangerously reduces. In such cases, yellow lights get the upper hand.
So if people are planning to change to HID, it has to be only with projectors. But still, i'd prefer regular ones like Osram NB or equivalent.
