So if people are planning to change to HID, it has to be only with projectors. But still, i'd prefer regular ones like Osram NB or equivalent.

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Upon using hids for a long time, both 6000k and 4300k, i can say that hid sucks big time. 4300k obviously is much better but again during rains, the visibility gets reduced a lot. They may seem to be bright but while on road and specially wet roads, visibility dangerously reduces. In such cases, yellow lights get the upper hand.Originally posted by Supreeeth View Post

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Dats wat. HID's are awesome. Only the street-legal thing is the issue i guess. & u've to ride on low beams as far as u can. I do 80% of the time.Originally posted by Supreeeth View PostI had de same hid for 2 yrs, unfortunately the high beam had issues and later changed to stock
I loved the hid n was the center of attraction on roads

I agree with u Bro..... During rains hid does upset u.... Otherwise it's not dat bad excluding the legal traffic rulesOriginally posted by abhi7013 View PostUpon using hids for a long time, both 6000k and 4300k, i can say that hid sucks big time. 4300k obviously is much better but again during rains, the visibility gets reduced a lot. Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
As abhi7013 said hid can't be trusted during rains.... The road is not clearly visible during heavy downpour n hence it was a bad experienceOriginally posted by jack_daniels View PostDats wat. HID's are awesome. Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Maybe! When I was researching on the various bulbs in the market, I found out that Philips XV is rated 4500k whereas Osram NB was 4100k. Hence, Osram should be yellow-er on paper. But now Osram NB is out out production and Osram NB+ is sold. Maybe it has shifted to the white-er side.

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
I have the NB+ and it's rated at 4300K. There's a newer NB Unlimited that's launched a few months ago, it is claimed to be even whiter (4500k?)Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostMaybe! Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Too good to be true, 3.6-3.7 is advertised, 3.82 is near ideal! Anyways, I've downloaded the app, would try it soon.Originally posted by vishnurajanme View Post3.82 seconds (Calculated with GPS speedometer on my google nexus)
