Possible. Seems I'll have to take out my old trusted multimeter tomorrow. Because it has happened after a 100+ km ride too. After all I'm still on the stock battery you see.

If you notice the sound in that video, the engine starts after a certain lag. Could it be a problem with the spark plug??

Yup, I think its battery charge issue too... Do let know after you check on the multimeter DS bhai... and the video really brought clarity to the problem at hand...

          Cheers.

i dont see a battery issue divya....it started immediately but RPM went down and then raised before settling down,..either vaccum leak or the sensor issue...lets see what PSR sir says...

@psr sir, kindly suggest. Why does the engine/FI light come on?
When I drove without snorkle the valve got loose and my idle rpm changed when I went to svc they said your valve has to be tightened and they did it.. after that the rpm turned normal

@psr sir, kindly suggest. Why does the engine/FI light come on?
Last friday I started the bike after 15days of gap (off for my marriage).. The bike started with one go, went to office and came back all fine till then.. Saturday I washed the bike, polished it and went for a small ride all went well till now.
On Saturday evening when I was about to visit my in-law's house the bike started initially engaged gear and made a move then stopped!! I tried to start it again but didn't work, after 3-4 try I turned off and on the key and tried to start the bike but no success... Later bike started with the pull of the throttle and self at a time... Once the FI light blinked before starting but went off in few seconds!! Since then bike is running fine and also no starting problem, starts without throttle...

                Anything to worry about??

                I am a bit worried!!!

Maybe air lock after the water wash. Keep a watch for few days.

engine seems to have flooded by what you said...no worries...opening the throttle and cranking is only thing what you have to do at that time..

hi DS...how are you? anyway was just going through your problems....
What i can draw out of it is that your fuel pump is taking some time to open up after you turn your ignition switch to ON. So because of lack of fuel due to slow opening or delay the engine ignites without fuel...hence it happens...so once the fuel pump valve opens fully your rpm settles down to normal. I suggest get your fuel pump and fuel filter cleaned at the SVC.
As far asbettery issue is concerned...i dont think your battery has died...ZMR always gives a cracking sound and your display will flicker and time set to 1.00pm and trip A and B will go 0.......when you have battery issues and you press the ignition....!!
                          Regards-

Hi paddy bhai, I'm doing good. You've become an Eid ka chaand nowadays.

Yes, I do feel that I need to get the following done:
                            1. Injector cleaning.
                            2. Fuel pump flush.
                            3. AF cleaning.
                            4. Sprocket cleaning.
                            5. Swing-arm bushes changed.
                            6. Handle bar end weights replaced.

                            BTW, multi-meter readings are:

                            Off position, without load - 13.21 V
                            Idle, without load - 14.79 V
Idle with load (headlamps ON) - 13.16 V
                            At 3k RPM, without load - 14.86 V
At 3k RPM, with load (headlamps ON) - 14.12 V

Hence, I presume the battery is fine.

It seems new ZMR shall come in market in this month or in first week of march. Will be going this Saturday for service then ask for the feedback on new zmr @ svc
