Just came from a 150km ride after my 2nd service. Engine resistance has vastly improved. Basically, roll on fig. Earlier they were like-
      0-10= 1st, Now, 0-16/17,
      10-20=2nd, Now, 10-27/28,
      20-30= 3rd, Now, 20-36/37, & so on.
The engine has become more free moving. Doesn't knock like before even when I'm in the wrong gear.
      Just my observations.

I'm about to go for Shell Advance ax7. I'm confsed between 10W30 & 10W40. Which is the correct grade wich all of u've used??

Hi JD.....I believe u changed ur oil from stock to FS a little early...usually I suggest to run the engine on stock oil for about 5k kms.., but anywhich ways I suggest 10w40....have been using the motul 7100 FS 10w40 since past 30k kms now with utmost smoothness and comfort...it goes well for atleast 4k kms before it has to be replaced...ive also used it for 6k kms during my ladakh ride before I changed oil...!
I suggest 10w40 coz in india the weather is a little on the warm side and zmr also peculiarly tends to heat up too soon if in traffic or stop and go situation,,, so the extra 10grades over the 10w30 helps to keep the engine safe...!

How much electricity will a hair dryer require to run?

if its possible to make it work with our bikes battery then will it act like a forced induction super charger for the bike

I haven't changed it till now actually. Completed 2.1k kms till now. Actually, I think engine oil is bike specific. Which bike do u hv? We here think dat for ZMR best engine oil is the Shell Advance ax7. Fully tried & tested. Ppl here hv tried all sorts of diff oil including the Motul 7100.

Ha ha ha...I own the zmr too...just completed 40,000 kms yesterday...yes shell ax7 is good but ive tried both the ax7 and the motul 7100 and I fould the motul to be better with reference to life of viscosity and engine smoothness and also availability in stores:-)

That's because AX7 is a semi synth and Motul 7100 is a fully synth oil.

JD, shift to AX7 post 3rd service/4k kms.

Yups...on a personal note I feel a FS for zmr is preferred coz of the heat the bike generates...the SS tends to burn quickly than the FS and changing intervals also quick with an SS....putting forward my personal opinion n experience...I do not falsify ur views:-)

Guys I am working on a project at my university(Two stroke GDI). I am thinking of using the ZMR's fuel pump(Thank you PSR sir!) or the one in Glamour. Could anyone tell me what is the operating pressure of the fuel pump in ZMR?

My guess is 2 bar or 29 PSI....for ZMR fuel pump...with pressure regulator.
@ Harishkumar you can buy a HH Glamour fuel pump for appr., 6,500 /- from ASC. or buy on line .
