Hi friends,

From past one month or so, I can hear a strange rattling sound from the rear!!! After a lot of minute observation found that the sound is from inside the silencer pipe.. While DE-accelarating in 5th gear at speed range of 60-65Km/hr, the sound seems at it's maximum....

Showed it to the mechanic and was confirmed that I need to change the silencer pipe either user warranty or under insurance... Can anyone confirm on this?? Anyone faced same issue and solution is only silencer change!!!

Thanks in advance...

Update:
Now that my 1 st servicing is done, I've become much more liberal in opening the throttle As suggested by psr sir, I'm now letting the tacho touch the 5k mark, touching 80 km/h. I'm still varying the rpm, and using engine compression breaking as much as possible.

This bike is really awesome!
Now I'm realizing how great this bike is at high speeds; how effortlessly it reached there; and how powerful it's breaking is too! On one occasion I had accidentally touched 90 km/h, without even realizing it! However, I feel that the 1 st gear could have been a bit more powerful, and they should have really really provided a 6th gear!

1st, 2nd and 3rd are short geared which gives the bike an awesome pickup from standstill. 4th and 5th are overdrive. Yes, a 6th would have been nice. Would help increase some top end and mileage too.

Many times, without any intention, tge front tire has gone up the air from standstill. Thats how good the acceleration is. But this is only when the engine is cool and slightly warm. After the engine heats up, the acceleration isn't that great. Why??

I never faced any such issue. The engine performance has always been the same for me. May be its specific to your B.P.

Ok.. try to pop a wheelie when the engine is cold and then try popping a wheelie when the engine heats up enough.. say after riding for 75+ kms.. the pick up is good, but just not enough to pop a wheelie.. though i have done it in the second attempt or so..

I have never intentionally popped a wheelie in my life. But it has happened to me at least 4 times.
2 days back, after my photo session in Vellore, my hands were numb due to the fog near the area. As I engaged the clutch and accelerated, there you go. The bike jumped and stalled since I let go. Vellore is ~150 kms from CHN right?

EDIT - In fact, a cold engine is detrimental for its health. That's why we warm them up in the mornings to reach optimum operating temps. An overheated engine may have loss of performance though. Do you ride heavily on the clutch?

No idea bro. Maybe the cat con is broken, who knows. Hit the SVC and get it opened an checked. If required, get it replaced under warranty as the set costs 8k.
