Mate, I've bought that helmet in 2006 from DSG store, M.G road, Pune, the make of helmet is "BHP" unfortunately (presuming) they've stopped their production line in India? not quiet sure of as i never seen BHP helmets in any biking accessories stores in Pune/ Mumbai.

BHP ka production/import stopped in 2008. Daijiya is about to mate the same fate.
BTW, why "Abra"? I mean, many people say ZMR is a boat w.r.t the CBRs and the Dukes, but I'm optimistic that it cannot be the reason.

[MENTION=41586]Divya Sharan[/MENTION], thanks for your wishes mate, first off I wanted to name my bike in Sanskrit, as my previous bikes had few fancy western names

however I liked "Abra" for 2 reasons one it start off with same alphabet of my first name and second it is really felt like a boat as soon as I boarded on ZMR, Abra for it's grand presence, for it's smooth sailing/ cursing nature, hence like a boat it does make sure it sail smoothly into the wide ocean I am sure my "Abra" will make sure I will crurse smoothly in our roads, Amen!

Oh what a coincidence, [MENTION=32908]AmoghDox[/MENTION]! Even I got mine from Kundan Automobiles! And in all probability, I've seen and even touched your very bike!

When I went there before delivery I was presented with two ZMRs - one white(mine) n one black(which I'm guessing is yours). Since ZMRs don't sell in that high volume, and since u had to wait only 5 days, it's highly likely.

Meeting up sounds like a great idea! Once your first serving is done we can go on a quick trip together! Other ZMR bros from Pune are very much welcome too!

There were couple of other ZMR's as well when i initially booked it, however mine came from Delhi on 11th of this month

we shall surely catchtup!

any particular things which I need be following up till 1st 500 KMs, I've read that till first 500 km vehicle needs to be under 4k/ max 60 kmph?

Just keep varying the rev range across all gears and you should be fine. Wam up the engine for 30-45 sec every morning.

You seem to be a pretty experienced biker. Why ZMR after all dese yrs? No doubt the bike is excellent. But still, just a thought struck my head as I bought it as my 1st bike..

There is a video on youtube of a ZMR fitted wid a Cobra exhaust. I think Cobra/Leo vince, etc will suit ZMR although I think some upjetting mods will be reqd if I'm correct or the lean issue will surface.

What make is a Cobra? Leo Vince wala video even I saw. Its not for our bike. Leo Vince website doesn't list the bike. PRS, Pune had an exhaust for ZMA, but its not compatible with ZMR because we don't have a carb and no jetting is possible.

Thanks mate, not that experience but i like to ride, as i am riding since last 14 years

Earlier I was waiting for new ZMR to comeup but after that suddenly I decided to go for ZMR as it is proven horse and ticks all my requirement, I understand there are better technologies in the market are available at this moment which is where my brain was comparing with each machines, but I decided to go with my heart, I am no more speed junkie, I've used vehicles like RTR for it's track purpose/ Shogun mainly offroad which has decent enough tech specs.

I was using RE TBTS, which is a good machine in it's own aspect too, but I felt it is like maintaining a white elephant (as far as my concerns).

AFAIK ZMR is still one of the best suitable vehicle available for our country.. with decent tank range, a good comfort, reliable and decent cruising speed for our road conditions which is all sports tourer want.

I had a look at D200 and CBR but eventually i decided not to go for either of em neither I cannot wait till 2014 Karizma, as mainly i was looking ZMR for it's all round capabilities.

You talking about the OEM exhaust of the ZMA? Yes, it's a direct fit and makes the bike all the more silent. Though there is a 0.6 hp difference, back pressure is well contained and if painted matte black, it'd look awesome. I had this setup for 2 days in CHN when the SVC damaged the exhaust inlet pipe and buggers fit ZMA's exhaust. I rode for only 7 kms in 2 days, but the bike sounded like CBZ Xtreme. Also, there was no strain on the engine.
