Its an injector leaner and is supposed to clean sludge/debris if any, in the injector. So far I've done 600 kms with the 2nd fill. I'll give a comprehensive report after having done 5-6 fills or 2k kms.

Has anyone else faced a similar problem with their bike within the first 4k kms?

The service center people also said that they will order the spare part and it may take upto 10 days for the part to get delivered. When I asked can't it be sped up, they said that for urgent shipments, I would have to pay the shipping charges which will be 11% of the cost of the fuel pump(which they said costs 11k). Should I really be bearing the costs for this as my bike is under the warranty period? I know about the general problem about the cost and availability of ZMR spare parts but this seems a bit too much for me.
Dude. since your bike is new (hoping) they should do it under warranty..

Yes they agreed to replace it under warranty.

What I was more worried about was whether this is a recurring issue. I sure hope not as the primary intention behind choosing a ZMR was the reliability for long drives.

Yeah Dude, the bike is under warranty. They agreed to replace it(I didn't have to fight much )! The issue was the time period they were asking for. They said if I needed it urgently, I will need to pay the shipping charges as well. Luckily, they found it at a center in AP itself(meaning no extra shipping charges). Hopefully, my bike will be ready by today evening!

I know this has been discussed earlier in this forum, but w.r.t availability in Bangalore, I am posting this request.

I am planning to change my rear Tyre which has served it's purpose till now without any problems.
I am looking for two major things -

              1. Not cutting or fiddling with my chain cover
              2. Good wet road compatibility, because I will be riding less once the thermometer reading starts to climb up and it will be heavily utilized in the rainy season this year.
              3. Tubeless, because I ride with a lady pillion in most of my rides and want to avoid mishaps in case of a Tyre puncture in a lonely stretch.
              4. Availability is the primary concern as I will be changing tyre in my next servicing, probably after completing 2 K more by march first week.

Right okay! .. Yes, it is an injector cleaner. One of my friends has been using it in his Desert Storm for the past 2 years and he claims to get a mileage of around 36-38. So wanted to know if you had found any improvements in fuel efficiency!

Well I'd be delighted if the average increases, but that'd need a highway ride. So far I get about 43 kmpl in city (+- 1 kmpl)
Last Saturday, I hit the highway for a relatively short trip of about 165 km to and fro, maintaining speeds in 90-95 kmph range saw me getting ~48 kmpl.

Whoa awesome!! I get around 43kmpl but am not sure as to how far its right, as I've calculated reserve to reserve mileage instead of the full tank method..
Btw, is it advisable to use the additive from the initial stages of the bike?

been using System-G in car as well as my CBR and this thing does work.. the acceleration is back to its old linear form and the bike feels smooth.
CBR's almost all of them sputter ( not misfire) while de-acceleration at low speeds. it is substantially reduced.

it idle's better and cold start settles quickly.

i dont use it regularly but like once in every 4-5 tank fills. does the job.

Had a nasty save today!!! Was riding on the highway @ 95 ish. All of a sudden in the front about 50m ahead, a TATA Tempo takes a u-turn. Brake hard- both front & rear (60:40). Speed decreases to about 40 by the time I reach the tempo. Thankfully, dere's an arms length gap between the tempo & the divider. Just managed to scrape past my way through it. Had seen lots of superbike vids wid the same situation in youtube. Today it paid dividends for sure

Complaints- Useless rear tyre. Skids like hellllllllllllllll. I think I'm cutting my chain cover & will install dirt bike track tires, esp. the michelin sirac variety. Racing tires are useless on our roads where u need sudden braking due to too many idiots plying around. Even during cornering, rear tire skids like hell.

When the ongoing discussion is about Iftex SYSTEM G i just thought i might chip in for some sharing of observation.I have been a user of Iftex system G for approx 6-7 years. A time was there when it was not available as no body was ordering it or stocking it and i used to pay advance to a Bharat petroleum pump to order it for me. But now it is easily available.First i was using it on my Joy and then on my pleasure and Joy and now on Pleasure, Joy and extreme. From my observation System G is a product that talks about itself. On the site itself you can see the various test done on the product but from my real life experience hell yeah it is worth its hype.It is not only a injection cleaner but also cleans the valves and also combustion chamber and spark plug tip. Moreover it smoothen the throttle response and bike feels eager to pull hard.Recently for two fills i couldn't use it on my extreme and the difference was immediately noticeable. The throttle response was not as smooth and engine felt as if vibrating more. Moreover the finesse with system G was missing. Now in any of the said three bikes if i forget to use System G i can immediately feel the difference. Mileage also improves by 3-4 kpl in my extreme, 5-7 kpl in my Joy and 5 kpl in pleasure. Moreover with the use of system G i have never faced compression leakage because of valves in any of my bikes. Also using it in car but will not tell on it as it is not a car forum.

Must have been terrible man! Good to know nothing happened to you! I recently had my first proper nasty experience! Just be cautious while approaching crossings and always look far ahead of you while riding, helps to plan and avert such incidents.

                              Ride safe!

Is there any harm in using it regularly, for each and every tank fill? Bought one yesterday.
