i am currently using Rimula R4 from Shell (Diesel Engine Oil) it is doing great, especially on the highways.. but the drain period is 1500 kms for me.. as it gets dark.. the oil grade is 15W40...

I am planning to go for semi synthetic from Veedol.. the one @veryhiphop is using and he says it satisfies him...

      or the Gulf Pride 4T..

also like what @RaajD has said.. it could also mean that the clutch plates are at fault..
I dont think there is issue with the clutch plates, as I do not experience any kind of pick up degradation. I am only facing issues with the performance of 2nd,3rd, and partly 4th gear. I dont felt even slightest degradation in the working of the 1st gear. Bike even gets up from stand still in the second gear. Also never tried any stunt on the bike, but I am 90% sure that bike wheel perform wheelie. I dont think that is possible when clutch plates are fault.

Also, yes after servicing i feel the improvement in smoothness and performance, specially after changing engine oil buy 30-35% of that when used with old oil while sprinting.

But that performance improvement is ephemeral.

Thank you very much brother, will definitely try and check out sprockets. Most probably I think that the problem exist with the default engine oil and bad sprockets, I dont know whether they would be getting replaced or not at this level when i clocked ~13000km in 2.5years. But yes I also admit to the fact that I complained about this issue since the 2nd service was done. I must also add here that when i did my 7th servicing(Not free but paid one), SVC guy advised me to replace whole chainset (i think chainset he said). But one of the acquaintance in the service centre asked the worker to do something so that it need not be replaced.

BTW, my battery, clutch plates, plastics and rear disc pads (there are many more, but these are prominent) are still stock and I guess these would last forever! ha ha!

Try the Rimula R4 mineral Oil from Shell.. and then move to a semi synthetic (heard Golf Pride is doing good and this will be the next in my oil change list)

Castrol really sucks and it sucks more on the karizma and zmr.. i had to change back to motul after just completing 400kms as the performance deteriorated.. that too it was the fully synthetic wala..

Go in for Rimula R3 or the R4 from shell

Bad luck seem to have struck me from tomorrow... While I was heading for office found that there were 2 nails in my rear PSD!!! This is 5th puncture in 6months and 5K KMs completed...

This was not the end of all miseries.. While heading back to home from office, I hit a pot hole (rather a call it a well) at around 60-70 KM/hr speed... But didn't fall... Today found my front wheel to be flat... More investigation gave me a sock, I have a bent alloy!!!!!

What next now?? I am blank, can suggest what should be my next step??? Change the alloy or repair is possible?

                          Eagerly waiting for feedback...

                          Regards,
                          AB.

You can hammer it back (at a competent tyre shop) into approx shape. Nobody would guarantee a 100% fool proof solution. Else, you can visit a car tyre dealer and ask them if they remove bends. They have specific tools for car tyres and most Audis/Mercs/BMWs come shod with 18 inchers.

Else, get yourself the CBZ Xtreme 2010 model waala alloys.

                            Reason:
                            1. Same part as our bikes but the part number is different. (All HH bikes >=150cc have same alloys from the same manufacturer)
                            2. Cheaper price for Xtreme but costlier for Karizma. (Don't ask me why! )

Lastly, be a little more watchful on the roads and ride safe.

Regarding the ZERO DEP policy, one should avoid a claim until it is substantial, else your premium from the next year onward would increase by a good amount!

Tough luck, but I make it a point to not exceed 45ish when on bad roads. Even while touring!!
