I did not understand you.Is ur bulb stock and still splits the beam(which is highly not possible) or changed to xtreme as according to previous posts u were searching for it and getting the split beam.

If you had already changed the bulb then why are you confused between the xtreme and HID?

I am using Osram NB, Good exposure.... came to Mumbai in morning from Nashik, the fog is at its best in Igatpuri and in the Kasara ghat, NO problem with Osram NB, it performed too good.. tough it has white light ... No Problem in Night riding except slow down while getting truck light from front.
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

                Friends,

Probably we are banging our head needlessly for simple Headlamp.
My point is whatever you do there are always some restrictions and disadvantages.
Till a certain level in city Night Ride for 50-60 kms the headlamps even with 55/60 W is OKish.
Some cases where there is Highway and there are no potholes it is good enough.

Beyond these conditions additional lamps with proper relays are necessary.

Firstly, this is used in special cases and hence safe for electricals too.
Secondly, you get the desired result also.

However this is the reason I posted something on this page few threads ago.

Can some noble souls throw some ideas and thoughts on that?

After my Mrng ride in full FOG condition... i asked the navnish for the FOG lamp, he replied as :

my question : "hey hi Navnish hope u r dng fine, do u hve anything to fight FOG ?"

His reply :- Hey man am good. what about you. For the fog you can use a 4300k hid man. or a 3000k one. 3000k is more like street light . Best bet is 55w 4300k hid its warm and can be used during rains as well as dry weather .

so if anyone interested please get in touch wid navnish
