Hella Auxiliary Lamps

Hi Friends,

Planning to install HELLA Auxiliary Lights in front license plate clamp.
Should be 35W X 2 with proper Relays and et all.

Has one tried this or seen this? Any after effects or issues?

This will only be used in Night Touring or Foggy or extreme conditions.

On a daily use the Osram Nightbreaker 55/60 at the main unit will do the regular job.

Has anyone using OSRAM or PHILIPS have observed the top of reflector just above the lamp?

My friend using ZMA-R who fitted Osram with me has a melted reflector.

Hey guys!!

Yesterday I parked my beast in parking and it was showing 3 dots of petrol meter including the one which blinks. Today when i started the bike the its was the last one and blinking..

Is it like that or something else guys?. (Stealing of petrol is not the case 99%)

Is the bulb he is using is of 55W..or 90W...if it is 90W then surely reflector can melt...

Also, it is advisable to turn off headlight bulb if changed to 55W or higher ...on traffic lights or in neutral mode

Normally in ZMR...when the petrol bar start showing 2/3 bars...in this case then after 10-15 KM ride it come to 1 bar...and need to fill a petrol...

Same is the case for mine and my friends ZMR too..Even more when the last bar is blinking and when i fill the tank with 200rs of petrol it shows half tank filled

and then when fill 300 rs of petrol in addition fuel indicator just shows 2bars more than half tank

Thxx...dude!! its giving me 45km/ltr .. stillw aiting for 1st service.. is that ok!!

45 KM is an very good average on a 225cc engine...

what is an company/brand for SAE 90 you have used to lubricate chain...

There are 4 nuts which gonna fit in 4 bolt's welded , from which 1 is missing

I used VOLVOLINE SAE 90 Oil got it from jeep oil shop.

Sounds good , i am also interested in something like that , got Indigo Manza H7 55 watt Osram Bulbs , looking for small projectors to get them on in same are near numberplate or the Horn's Opening

Using Philips 55/60 watt bulb nothing melted here , as i ride mostly in day.
In case of your friend it might be because so much use or high temperature bulb

I also experinced same , digital fuel indicator is not as accurate as the analog is.

I have been using the Philips extreme vision bulb on my Discover 100cc dts-si for a year and using the same on my ZMR for last 1 month and few odd days.I haven't faced any issue of reflector melting.Can you confirm with your friend,Had he ever used 90w bulb in his reflector?

Today the parsal from Dealextreme containing
1) A pair of 38 SMD LED T10 Parking Bulbs
2) Decoration Oil Base Medium Point Paint Marker for Car Tires - White
Arrived home...
Its really fast , ordered on 15 july & reached home on 29 july within 14 days

A biggest thanks to Lokesh Bhai for making the deal without him it would be very difficult to get these things . As i am without CC & they accept only CC.

All,

No the first friend in Red ZMA-R never used other bulbs. Stock to OSRAM 55W/60W.
While the other friend in Yellow ZMA-R uses HID 35W from Navneesh.

Both have the same problem. May be we are LUCKY

or vice versa.

Is there a chance that they have installed a aftermarket lens cover, i had that type installed on my earlier P150 and that became burnt after a period of time even with stock bulbs!

Hey guys i am experienced a new problem , there is sound from front side might be engine when i applied rear brake completely..
Can some one check it , Park bike on main stand , Then start it , put 1 st gear , give a little run to rear tyre , then press clutch & apply rear brake fully & then the sound comes from front side i suspects it might be engine , can somebody please check & confirm ?

1: Philips crystal vision 4300K 65w/12V H4
2:Philips crystal vision 4300K 65w/12V Hb3

Any inputs about these products guys!!!

I could not find Philips crystal vision 65w 5300k H4 when I searched. I know there is 55/60w. Is this product new in the market?
