Vibrations
Hi guys,
What is the correct rpm for idling. My bike shows just above 1.5k. I think it was around 1.2k before 1st service. Also i feel some vibrations in foot pegs and handles and i,m very much worried. My odo reads 1800 kms. I took it above 60 kmph only after 1500 kms. Now i,m afraid whether i have done something bad to my bike. I just opened the throttle just a few times and took her till 90 so that the engine will be opened and thought these vibes will disappear but didnt do it harshly. I heard many say that zmr's engine is very smooth as butter. But yesterday i took a splendor and it was too soft and smooth. Is there something wrong with my bike or the way i ride. I have changed oil 3 times. 200 kms, 550 kms, 1500 kms. What should i do to make my bike smooth. Please help me....i,m confused.

Me too facing heavy vibrations netween 3.5 - 4k think it is normal or I just pretend myself that it is normal coz I dont want to spoil the joy of ride
. It seems that there is no solution for this..

Get your battery checked.... I faced same issue with my ZMR few days back... everything was working fine except the horn and the self starter.... whenever i used to press the starter, the speed console will get off and the clock gets reset whenever i press the self button... only a grrr sound would come....
i checked all fuse and stuff but everything seemed to be normal... got the battery changed today... self worked in one go... but horn's still not working properly... will get it checked at service center soon..
Unfortunately, EXIDE battery for ZMR isn't available here in Gurgaon. The main dealer said all the EXIDE batteries for ZMR are going directly to South India..
so had to get a local battery with same config as per the original requirements of ZMR...

as per i was describing about my trip to chakrata..here I am attaching few pics of that trip & will post more later
& also i've attached pic of new tyre which i had to install as my stock tyre got punctured badly..I rode my bike for like 60 odd kms with a pillion rider to reach Dehradun as i knew that at that place only i could find that tyre i wanted..then after getting this new tyre installed i went back to Chakrata & completed by tour safely

Sirac is looking nice in ZMR.

, check your relay & clean its terminal's with wd40 .
