Yep, that is exacly what I think too, but when everytime I go to the service, they insist that the oil cooler works perfectly. But after a ride I dont feel much heat around the oil cooler, it is much cooler compared to the engine(which I think should be the other way around)..

Are you still facing heating issue in current weather of Delhi...after how much KM you feel heat....

If you are satisfied; do you write to HM in this regard...
Nope bro, I'm currently residing in Sri Lanka, actually my parents are, so I'm with them, for 5years to come, I bought ZMR from here, two months ago. The production date was 27th July 2011. Very good dealers in here and customer service too..

Well, after 5kms or so I feel the heat, whether I'm in Traffic or on the highway cruising.. and in cooler climates too(Center of sri lanka is a hilly area and much colder and good roads wit a lot of hair-pin bends through forests make a riders paradise.. I love it there)

An old oil, very lean AFR and very tight chain, all produce engine heat and vibration...since ZMR is PGMFi the other two alternates of oil and chain tightness should be checked.
Oil is around 1000kms old, chain is cleaned and adjusted perfectly.. Yep, I guess the AFR is lean, I posted a photo of my spark plug few pages earlier and I think engine is running lean..

Is there anyway I can retune the engine, and check the oil cooler working perfecty??

Although I ride the bike too much for a lot more Kms, (last weekend 900kms in a single day and plan for a 800km ride this weekend too) I got the feeling that this heat might cause problems on the valves, tappets.. etc??

                  My spark plug..

                    • Lean mix will overheat the engine and will damage the spark plug earlier, So its better to keep it at optimal setting or slightly rich. Slightly rich will give you better throttle response.

                        • Here are some snaps of the rides I had in this absolutely wonderful country so far(Sri Lanka)..

With some good roads, breath taking views, diversified landscapes, densed vegitation and specialy the central part of the country full of hills and roads with hair pin bends, make this country a truly wonderful riders' paradise..

I hope to cover a lot more Kms in this country before I leave.. (And of course more disciplined drivers made rides almost accidents free too)

                              • Guys,

I had booked my Zmr on 26th Sept and got a call today from HH showroom, that she has arrived. I asked my bro to pick me up from office and we both arrived at the showroom to check it. Wow!! was truly pleased that I chose it over CBR...it looks Magnanimous . As suggested by XBHPites, checked for scratches, rough edges, color issues etc but didn't observe any. Placed myself on the bike and voila, both my feet touched flat on the ground (Being 5ft 8in was worried abt the same, yes my 92 kgs self helped too). Started the bike in neutral and listened to the pleasant engine humming. Checked the gorgeous console and Awesome..Is all I felt. However, I did observe that the front left indicator was glowing but not blinking and the rear left indicator was not glowing at all. Brought this to HH guy's notice, he said he will get that fixed by tomorrow. I literally threatened the HH guys not to allow anyone else to touch my bike as I will be collecting my Zmr on 24th Oct (Dhanteras).

What all (Manual, Docs, Tools) do I need to collect from the showroom when i take my beauty home on 24th. HH guy says he will get my Zmr, her first teflon coat for the 24th.
