Please tell me brand/model number/price for the pilot bulbs, if possible.
Yes I installed in the same way, removing the black cover around the meter console.

I have also installed the 2nd bulb that came in the set, in my wife's Honda Activa. Had checked the owner's manual. The generator produces 0.110 kW @ 5000 RPM. So I guess it should be fine, though not completely sure.

With the 55/60W Philips Diamond Vision bulb, lighting is much better on the Activa now. One thing I noticed is that, when I toggle from low-beam to high-beam, and vice versa, there is a very slight delay. With the stock bulb in Activa, this doesn't happen. In my ZMR with the 55/60 bulb it doesn't happen either. Its not much of an issue, we can live with it.

Your comments please, on whether it was a good idea to put the 55/60 on Activa.

Check this for pilot bulbs http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tml#post710323
Also 42 & 68 smd led available so if they are of size to fit properly then you try them too .

On Activa 55/60 watt bulb might create problem in switches .

Also if possible please post picture's of Philips Diamond Vision Light spread on road low & high beam seperately & combined . And a pic of headlight from around 10 feet when light is on . ( let the camera 10 / 15 second to settle before you snap reflector pic ) Asked same to other users but they haven't posted yet .

How many guys in this Forum have crossed 30000 kms on ODO?

As per the inputs seems SACHIN & DHIRAJ tops the list along with another guy.

My White Angel has completed 27000 Kms and would head for a servicing this weekend.
Recently have observed that there is an increase in Mileage in SOLO Ride
While with a PILLION (Wife) Mileage drops drastically compared to initial days.
These are as per the RTMI figures.
On an average it still returns around 40 KMPL.
              Any particular reason or pattern?

Completed 35000 kms till date. changed the front tyre previously it was M45, i searched a lot for the stock one, but it is really tough to find out, as i need it urgently so installed MRF Zapper FS (2.75-18), but as soon as i ride with mrf i felt the difference between M45 and Zapper, though my M45 was gone to toll but it still had a excellent grip on road, which was missing in MRF Zapper FS...

Rear tyre still is in good condition for next 4-5 months. The problem with rear one was that it got punctured on the same location 2-3 times so the whole got bigger, but tyre is still in good condition, so i put the tube and made the patches at the puncture side.
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

Does any one has any idea? where i can get it done? i think Satyajit has done it last year? and how much it will cost?

I have done 36009kms as of today buddy,
                  I changed my
                  1) read disc pads twice,
                  2) front pads once,
                  3) chain and sproket once,
                  4) rear tyre @ ~28000km(Michi*** Sirac Street),
                  5) cone set in last service and
                  6) the fairing for a couple of times,
                  7) rear shocks & rear alloy once(
after a crash), still need to change the clutch plates.

Till 12000kms used Hero Supplied 10W30 oil
after 12000kms till last service used Honda 20W40.
Currently using Shell AX7 & Shell regular fuel (bikes feels a lot better in this combo)

This is all I can come up from my memory buddy, nobody can beat you in keeping the books and record of each and every tiny detail about the bike...

                    Dhiraj,
Why MRF and not Michelin Sirac as it comes in 3.00 X 18 also.
Feel that ant day they are way better than MRF.
Primarily Road Grip is more important than TUBE or TUBELESS

Regarding TWIN Blinkers only Switches & Blinkers for Rs 70.00 was my expense.
The set up was done by my MECHANIC in HMC SVC free of cost.
Could not see also since done inside.
Will try to get the info and send it to you.
But YES the SWITCH has to be real good enough!!!

                      • @ Satyajit :- Michelin Sirac not available and i need it on urgent basis, as my front tyre was totally gone to toll.

                        Regarding bike :-

1). Changed chain and sprocket in last servicing.
2). Changed front disc pad in last servicing, i still not have changed the rear disc break pad.
3). Changed the spark plug to NGK Iridium on 12000 kms and it is still working perfectly.
4). Front tyre changed at 35,000 rear tyre still going (M45 both)
5). Using Mobil 10w40 Fully synthetic engine oil (last almost 6000).
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

Hi Dhiraj I wanted to know ur take on Mobil FS oil... Motul 300V was excellent oil... I used it for about 5000 kms.. Still was in good shape... Smooth gear shifts... Lesser vibes n all... Had to switch again to HH company oil to keep my bike's warranty alive and I realised how pathetic it was and wondered how did I managed with the oil for 7500 kms before switching to Motul... Hard gear shifts, vibes and very difficult to find neutral just after 100 odd kms... Want to switch again to motul 300V but can't find... The shop that I purchased this oil earlier now has Mobil 10w40 FS...
