        • K&N - Has a bloody scream, kinda iritating.
Cosworth - Has a muffled thumping tone, soothing to the ears.

Its better you concentrate on their maintenance rather than sound.
K&N is the oiled type. Cosworth is the cleaning type.

          • Installed Philips Diamond Vision headlamp on my ZMR. Thanks to the forum members who had posted the picture and steps how to change the bulb.

There is significant improvement in lighting over the stock=crap 35W bulb!

Now the things is, Diamond Vision has white light, and the stock pilot lamps have yellow light. So there is a mismatch of colors!

Can somebody please throw some light on white light replacement options for the stock pilot lamps? And instructions on how to replace them.

Go for LED pilot bulbs....to install open black cover around the meter console and change it...even bulb can be changed from the same area...how do have changed bulb in your ZMR?

Oil types are hard to maintain cause you'd have to source the oil from K&N itself, else you'd have to settle for regular oil, which IMO wont work as best as the one provided by K&N.

                  For cleaning types,

Yeah. No worries as long as the grades are the same.

According to me, go for a Simota or Cosworth.. Both have excellent quality and durability..
