the valve clearance is determined by the distance between extrusion round portion(not the oval) and the shim.

    great info mate

That nut is available in asc costed 14 rupees & problem solved .

You can rearrange the round clips ( vicers as called by mech's here ) & insert FEVIBOND in between them & to the threaded portion of that nut . It holds good for 2/3 month , but best bet is to replace that nut .
      Please explain in detail
      -What rearrangement of washers?
      -Where to put fevibond?
-And its a bolt holding the mirror arm right?? where to fit the nut???

Right now I keep this with me and I daily have to tighten the bolt

U were right. Thanks. I fixed it back. don't know how it came out. also it has some grease on it so must have come in contact with chain in process of falling down. luckily it fell at home.

I also keep this allen key to tighten mirrors.. Mirror gets lose when we adjust them.. So I've set them tight for best view and don't adjust them again and again... So no problem for me..

I hope my calculation would go wrong & it would fit easily . Give us update when you fit them .

And yes please post pictures . :rolleyes
          68 smd led is wow!

When i replaced the stock bulb with led, it was touching the glass. so i just pulled out the rubber holder slightly. then there was some space between led and glass.

The led lights up the ground below and nearby really well. Overall lighting with 55/60 headlight and led parking lights is very good. thanks to Above All for all the information.

Will try to post the pics.

While idling you do not get that sound propery. Its only when u shift to the third gear or when your bike crosses 40 that you can actually feel its true sound. But no problem. I'll try my best to upload that video. Howeve that wil not be that much powerfull

Just after the bike gets moving shift to 2nd and open the throttle hard. Pure nirvana.

Did you try resetting the ECU? Normally in cars we do that after making any changes to either the intake or exhaust, for the ECU to adjust the AFR.

              • Someone few pages back reported about hard gear shifts... Today I came to know clutch-play may be a problem... I was too experiencing hard gear shifts, took my bike to SCV.. Mechanic test rode my bike and adjusted clutch play and whoa.. My gearshifts are butter smooth...

Anyone facing hard gear-shifts can try adjusting clutch play as per given in owner's manual page - 47.

                • Hello brothers,

I've been facing a very annoying problem of late.
The front tire loses pressure too soon - within a day!

There are no punctures and the SVC (as well as the road side mech) say that the valves are ok. There are no rim bends either!
15 days back, I gave the bike for service and gave the same complaint. SVC people put some jel between the side walls and the rims. They said that the side walls may have become weak.

But, the problem has cropped up again. For the past 3 days, I fill in air before leaving to office.
                  Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Must be a puncture with very tiny hole...check thoroughly with a good tyre/puncture shop....

Dats da point. Only few mechanics know how to work around the ecu of zmr and oly few in those may do it rite. Thats why following someone's suggestion about a few pages back i had to select a filter which allows no more than 20% of air. So it came down to cosworth and simota and i went for the latter. I've not adjusted anything and its about two weeks into the filter thing.

Even for the ECU to adjust 20% properly it needs to be reset.

And also get a duckbill breather tube, its an OEM Enfield thingi, and fix it to the crank breather hose. And keep the bike like that overnight. Then connect battery and put back the panels, now start the bike and let it idle, then ride it hard for a couple of KMS.

I was having exactly the same problem. Everyday i had to get air filled in front tires.
Got it fixed by a roadside puncture wala. he put some black paste on the sidewalls and it did the trick. Its one week since then and tires haven't lost any pressure.
