How to do these?
1. Cleaning fuel injector
2. Checking water in tank

Also, how to get rid of these? I do not trust the mechanics at HMC in my area
RVM is a good tool to see your buddys losing behind while racing :)

Take it to a local mechanic. Removing the water from tank isnt a big deal..

For injector.. use the product suggested by Divya..

Take it to a private mech who has knowledge on zmr. Tell him to clean the filter which is below the tank and just before the fuel pump. Tel him to clean it with petrol. Next, ask him to clean the injector. Or u can get it cleaned yourself by giving it to the people who work on diesel pumps. And since you've got the bike dismantled, try getting the ignition coil checked. May cost few hundred bucks.

sarkartheruler - To answer your question, yes it will scratch the tank and pretty badly if your not careful. Better option available now is Rynox magnetic tank bag which will not damage the paint on the bike.

Yes, Zee is still very much with me in fact it gets ridden everyday to work and back. Just did servicing a month back when she completed 54k kms. New clutch plates, pressure plate, changed brake pads, wheel bearings replaced, cone set changed and lot more done. An entire day went in servicing the bike and it was not in hero service centre. Found a gem of a mechanic who runs his private garage and he has done my bike completely.

Midori does take all the attention but for me both bikes are important. What Zee can do Midori can't. Imagine riding 650 to Saki Naka everyday in summer heat with bumper to bumper traffic. It's crazy. That's where ZMR scores. It is easy to manage and ride in city and gives 40 kmpl

Guys, today I tried to reach the top speed but all my bike could do was 123 in slope and on perfect flat roads, even upon crouching, it just would not cross 119. On the same road I had touched 132 almost two months back. Any reasons for this behaviour?

How do you guys manage that? BTW, hit Nelamangala-Tumkur highway early morning before 7 (before it starts getting hot and humid). Get the air pressure/chain slack checked before the test. Report back.

Yeah 132! Slope. But this time, on the same slope, it was just 123.. Guess the bike is aging!

Maybe bro. But how does humidity come in? You mean, more the humidity, denser the air and tougher to cut through?

Same bike will have variable top speed depending on conditions. Have you seen manufacturer and magazines quote a top speed and some bike touch more and some less.

Personally i have seen my bikes touching more speed than manufacturer recommended. Cbz extreme has a top speed of 114 kph but i have touched 119 kph with ease.

Accordingly in my Joy the manufacturer has mentioned a top speed of 90 kph but i have touched a true top speed of 98 kph.

So what is the difference.

First and foremost is the climate difference. Try to touch top speed in summer and winter. In winter the bike will have more top speed. Its because in summer the air is less denser and thus looses out on power. No matter how much the FI system compensate it cannot alter the density of air. So with less density fuel burning capacity of engine decreases and more over at WOT bike gets into opn loop so cannot compensate for less denser air.

Second thing summer season are more windy than winter season. Moreover if the road is facing southward and you running in south direction you are running against stream as in summer season wind blows from south.

Third thing with age bike starts to loose some compression through valves. A thorough work on head restores the compression.

Fourth is tire pressure and chain slack which also determines the top speed.

Fifth is how you reached there. Zmr being tall geared will need to be accelerated hard in fourth gear and then shifted to fifth to rev the engine high in fifth gear.
