    Then it shouldn't be any engine components. Get chain slack checked and tappets adjusted. Use a different oil grade as suggested.

      Its not tappet noise... the noise is lugging noise most like the tik tik tik sound tat comes on low rpm and high gear.... noise doesnt come continuously , it comes in 4&5 gear only when the engine is heated or the bike is carrying high load or climbing hillss.. feels like the rpm is not enough to push it forward.

      Will check the bike responce with grade 10w40 oil

        i was going through same.. felt like bike has no power high rpm with low gear & tappet noise... tappet's adjustment & cleaning injector worked for me.

          Ditto! Cleaning the injector worked for me too. I had posted regarding the same issue a long time back. Changing the oil did not work for me. I was using agip at that time. Even at 4-5k rpm in 5th gear (80kmph), I used to get the sound. Shifted to shell ax7. Problem was arrested for few months but again it appeared. Then i again shifted to rimula about a year back. Problem had vanished until dec-13. When I got the injector cleaned, the problem vanished. From my experience, I believe its not the oil.
          However get the oil changed nd injector cleaned. Do both the things. Problem should vanish.

              Yes. Fuel injector. After getting it cleaned, you *may* use Iftex System G fuel additive for a few thousand kms.

                Yes ...Injector stays clean for good 6to7k KM ...i have already cleaned twice in 15k KM's ..& both time bike felt Happy after cleaning .

                      There are workshops for the same. They clean it with diesel. Haven't done it at home.

                        Rren bhai.....avoid cleaning the injector on ur own......its not that difficult to be frank....but its a sensitive part so better let the experts take care of it:-)
                        Just my personal opinion...!!

                        I have clent my injector on my own arnd 3times coz of water entering in it during rains:-(...but every time i get to the part my heart is in my mouth....!!!

                          Well then, I won't be taking the risk. But then.. who are the experts here?? I haven't found any expert in Hero Motocorp til today.. who else will be able to clean the injector??

                            Why fix if its not broken? If broken, there are workshops where pumps are worked upon. They'll do the needful with proper instruments.

                              Rren bhai exactly as divya says there are experts out there who surely know how to handle such work. If in u were based in Mumbai id surely take u to my mech bro....still lemme know ur location il try to ask a few biker frens if they know some1 in ur location:-)
