Stick to stock if you want your ride to last long, the company has mentioned the use of normal mineral oil, so for best results stick with that.Originally posted by ertiga_zmr View Posthey friends how good is Crankshaft flush oil and the additive engine oil. On my fifth service the service guy has convinced to use both oil and it costs me around Rs310 along with normal engine oil.Motorcycling Experience:

You know the word "divya-shakti"? It means divine power!
Just remove "shakti" from it and keep the pronunciation as it is.
Its not pronounced as divyaaaa, but it is divy(a).
दिव्य शक्ति - शक्ति = दिव्य
I hope it clarifies things.....

I would think they are talking about engine flush, is not normally used in bikes. Actually it is not recommended to do engine flush unless something else had entered which should not have. To be precise, their properties are so strong mighteat the the oil seal and lead to leaks. Another reason is, if the bike has run good for years, the oil seals would have bedded good with some residuals helps prevent oil leaks.Originally posted by ertiga_zmr View Posthey friends how good is Crankshaft flush oil and the additive engine oil. People from South India pronounce my name as Aswin.
People from everywhere else who have the Western touch pronounce my name as Aaashwin. And I've heard that in Northern India, they names girls Ashwin. Anyways sorry for the offtopicking.

Engine flushing in cars is more common and is done to remove sludge formation and old oil deposits(varnish). At the time of use the owners will be told of the problems likely to arise ,like loss of compression, noisy engine, oil seal leaks, reduction in FE etc. In Bikes also the same applies. When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

For rear M45 is the best i am still using it and have clocked more than 30kms with it, but nowadays it is not available so you can choose Pirelli Sport Demon 110-90-18, it is a soft compound tyre and have a great grip on the road but has less life may last for 15-20km only.Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

Cool, then I guess should stick to stock tyres for 10k atleast.P.S - I've clocked 17K and still running the skinny stock tires. Got used to the grip/no grip in rains, but it till manages to slip/skid (without a fall, touchwood) once in a while.
You just reminded me of these guys on xbhp, link is below (Damn.. I wish I will make it to Leh one dayIf you're planning a Leh kind of off roading,..
)
Pics are just awesome

If you're planning a Leh kind of off roading, then Zapper Q is a no, else it should be fine... After all, its better than the stock ones.

This is exactly what ZMR needs. It is designed for Sport Touring motorcycles with thin rims. Excellent grip on wet and dry surfaces.
Talking about the life our friend here sachinnair would tell better about it. He has already done 19K kms and still good to go.
I have rode/tested my friends bike with PSD and can tell you it feels safe to corner. No wobbles no squeaky sounds.
I am getting PSD 120/80 18 for my ride next week
. Have removed the chain cover already.

Leh is a dream for almost all of us, but it requires some skill which I'm in the process of acquiring...
That is why I don't want a PSD... I don't want to cause harm to my angel by:-Originally posted by 00sanjeev View PostIts cool Bro.. juss pulling ur leg

1. Removing the chain cover
2. Exposing the chain/sprockets to dust/sand - more wear and tear.
3. Losing out on performance due to the fatter tires and extra weight of PSDs.Last edited by Divya Sharan; 07-24-2012, 04:19 PM.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
