My mechanic installed it for me so i do not know the model no.. If you are interested then give me a day's time i'll ask him morrow. Sound quality is excellent and performance i did not check yet..

Polish/Wax/Teflon

Hi Guys, could you tell me what is the differnce between the two polish and wax and the teflon is classified which of these 2.

Also, how should one proceed with applying these....first polish and then wax or visa versa..

also, is it better to do it ourselves against getting it done at a workshop...

also, any good brand names that i could use for my zmr..

any help is appriciated.

Oil types are hard to maintain cause you'd have to source the oil from K&N itself, else you'd have to settle for regular oil, which IMO wont work as best as the one provided by K&N.

Well the sound obviously has changed and i do not know if it's my imagination but i feel the acceleration has increased way more. Same time there's a mileage drop which i calculated today. Used to give 46-48 on highway while riding wit a range of 60-70 kmph. Now at the same speed am getting 44.. Along with installation it costed around 2500rs. Oly the filter costs 2300rs.. Mileage will improve after i give the bike for servicing after installing the filter. This is what my mechanic promised. And one more interesting thing. He has burnt holes in the air box cover for adequate air supply shall upload the pics morrow. I need u guys to advice if its necessary

Unlike k&n the mech said there are two kinds of filters currently available (for bikes).. One is for 180cc and below and other is for above 180cc.. I saw the box its given 'simota racing filters', universal pod filters. And in a sticker below the box, the names of the compatible bikes are given. Thats it. 'Simota universal pod filters'. Google it for more info dude..

Mileage Concern

Hello ZMRians,

Of late there have been lot of

New Riders joining the ZMR Club.
Congrats to all of them and Ride Safe!!!

How many guys in this Forum have crossed 30000 kms on ODO?

As per the inputs seems SACHIN & DHIRAJ tops the list along with another guy.

My White Angel has completed 27000 Kms and would head for a servicing this weekend.
Recently have observed that there is an increase in Mileage in SOLO Ride
While with a PILLION (Wife) Mileage drops drastically compared to initial days.
These are as per the RTMI figures.
On an average it still returns around 40 KMPL.
Any particular reason or pattern?

Considering 33 Bumpers in 18.5 Kms for a Travel Time of 40 minutes daily from Office to Home.
Probably no other Machine would be able to withstand this torture!!!
