    I had this issue from the first day, but unfortunately srvice ppl have no clue. I think the oil cooler doesnt work, may be.. and service ppl dont know how to check the oil circulation too..

    I bought this bike for touring mainly, I do a lot of touring, cannot do it anymore with this engie heat which I suspect will lead to troubles associaled with valves later.

    I use 20W40 mineral oil too.. This heat i blowing me, Please suggest your views..
    Hey buddy maybe you can check oil circulation in oil cooler by opening it and blowing air from one side... The oil cooler will be filled with oil initially (just a guess) and proper circulation may be checked with the relative ease it comes out from the other side...

    If too much force is required for oil to come from other end, then you know it's time to change oil cooler under warranty...

      • Guys, I need urgent and quick replies from you.....

        I got a "Osram Nightbreaker Plus" H4 60/55W head lamp bulb, brand new..

        Can I use it in my ZMR without any battery or wiring issue, Do I really need a relay installed as well?? And are above specifications are correc for the ZMR??

          I have installed them 1 month back.. Id did a leh trip and they work perfect.. they are value for money dude!! no issues just Plug and play!!!

              • guys my bike suddenly stopped starting today (ie:i couldnt here the ignition motor start too ) and i shifted to neutral and then cranked it up, only then it started. what could be the problem?
                This already happened a few weeks back but after a minute when i cranked it again it started.

                    It also happened with me sometimes , showned to asc it is a half gear issue , as bike is not neutral & not in complete gear , solution provided by them is to make neutral or try to change gear.

                    Any guess why there acid particles formed at the relay connectors ? The battery is sealed maintenance free but still there acid is gathered at relay connectors , initially i thought battery is problematic , but the svc guy opened all 4 ZMR ( waiting for servicing ) relay connection & they all have same acid formation resulting a loud tick sound on pressing self start which is very light when the relay is new .

                      if your bike is starting in neutral and not with clutch engaged in any gear then the switch at the clutch may have gone faulty or connection may be loose...
                      speed thrills but kills if you dont have skills

                        • One thing i notice in my ZMR; normally daily i start riding at morning 8 AM to office on my ZMR (20 KM) ...and riding is not smooth...and if i ride in afternoon riding is much lighter and smooth as compared to morning ride after 2/3 KM....also this happens if i ride for an approx. 20 KM and stop for an break let day 10/29 minutes and on start and ride it again ; my ZMR shows little smoothness...

                          Means when bike engine is heat up...smoothness comes

                          don't know why it is happening..

                          Can anyone suggest on this problem.

                            Bro same thing is happening with me . I have no idea why this happens . And now days i am facing heating problem .
                            I don't brake rules , I merely test their elasticity ;)

                            • Below is my spark plug, NGK Iridium that is.. I think my engine runs a little lean, that may be the culprit on the exessive heat genarated by the engine as well..

                              Can anyone show some light on this...
