total bill was only 390Rs
270rs for oil
and other 50rs for labour ...and 70bux for a cable

and meter got changed with new orange meter ....didn liked new blue meter personally

which svc did u go? is tht the fort point at mahim? and i want to get my karizma r service so pls let me noe if u hav any contacts in svc and whom to talk to work on the issues on the bike..

Friends, I have noticed that the front tyre of my ZMR is losing air too quick. Have got it checked for puncture, but the mech found none. Any suggestions ??

i had similar problem months back. u need to remove the tyre from the rim, get the walls of tyre and rim cleaned for any mud accumulation and then refit the tyre and fill the air. Problem solved, all done

I am getting some knocking noise from the engine. It is very much evident with a pillion, even startin from stand still except for the 1st gear everyother gear i get knocking noise.
The cam shaft and rocker arms changed 500kms ago, bike has run for 13500kms.
Experts pls share ideas pls

For damages suggest to take your bike to SVC (where you have done all your bike services) and let them check for the issues and claim under insurance...

For suspension not recommend for repair...get it changed under insurance claim...

thanks man.... i will get it checked in a day or two... i couldn't get it checked till now as i wasn't fine... now i am fine... I did ride her hard n normal too.. everything seemed fine except that the handle is not fine... it's bit turned on the right side (that's where i fell :P )

Anyways... i checked in Karol bagh for re-painting... cost.. 4K... can you suggest me any other place where i can get her re-painted in less cost???

And one more thing... i changed like three service centers in 1 n half year... reason.. i wasn't getting the required servicing from any SVC... but the one in Mayapuri did great job... but going there from Gurgaon is also a pain at times...

can u suggest any other SVC near Gurgaon???

Headlight replaced!

Hi guys,

I replaced the stock headlight bulb of my bike with a Philips Crystal Vision 4300K 12V 60/55W H4 White Headlight Bulb. I got a couple of pilot lamps also free with that. Costed Rs 900 (packed as 2 headlight bulbs and 2 pilot lamp bulbs) in Reliance Autozone, Bangalore.
I replaced the pilot lamps and head lamps myself. The service guy told me that it would take a minimum of 1-2 hours. I did it in less than half hour. (Refer page 727 for detailed procedure.)

Here are the pics, before and after replacement.

By, the way, I want to change the engine oil to improve the performance of bike. I always ride at high revs so the engine gets heated up pretty fast.
Company prescribed engine oil is SAE 10 W 30 SJ grade (JASO MA Grade).
Which of the below oil from Shell can I use ?
1. Shell Advance Ultra Fully Synthetic 4-stroke motorcycle engine oil - 10W-40 SM / MA2
2. Shell Advance AX7 Semi-synthetic 4-stroke motorcycle engine oil - 10W-40 SL / MA2

I have also read lot of posts about engine oil for ZMR in this thread. Which one would suit the best for a bike that does 40-50kms daily?

Use the semi synthetic first, no need to go for the fully synthetic. The gread is correct it is the best in both worlds.

Not familiar with a paint shop...but i suggest to make sure to match quality of ZMR paint quality and metallic...

In my case knocking was happening due to adulterated petrol...my SVC clean the Fuel Injector and problem solved..

@ manan3230 from which book you posted the page showing oil cooler cover ? I got Shop Manual but the page showing the oil cooler cover thing is not similar to the page you posted .

I think either i got the updated version of Shop Manual or there is difference in shop manual for maharashtra region & delhi region .

Check the attached pictures for both pages posted by you & the one in my shop manual .
