Lol i said after taking delivery , when it is excepted to maintain speed below 60 kmph for first 1000 kms atleast , but i crossed 70 kmph at starting of run in .

And now a days my speedo is mostly around 120 kmph , on the beautiful NH4 , ZMR is really stable & vibrations free .

I got a white ZMR for myself in Nov 2011 and glad that I made the right choice after some serious thinking. This is my first bike and prior to this, I had never ever rode a bike. Now, I have learned to ride on my ZMR and have completed 250 kms in 2 months....I know that's very less, but m happy as they are without any mishaps & issues...Thank God .

Please share the best riding tips to ride a Zmr. (In City & On Highway).

            - I wish to know the best practices while riding and tips to keep myself
and my ZMR in the best condition on and off-road.
            - I m also planning to have a mumbai -pune road trip by end of jan
(Its further ahead from pune : Total distance is approx 230-240 kms).
            - Should I go for this trip or give myself some more time and kms?
            - Will my new zmr's engine be ready for this?
            - How to prepare for this ride If I plan to go for it?
            - How to take care of my bike during this ride?
            - Best tips to carry a pillion rider and backpacks.
            - ZMR Speed range for each gear i.e the higher speed limit to shift next
            top gear.
            - Anything that you seem is important for a novice rider like me.
Congrats and welcome to the ZMR team..
If you are goin for a long trip, with a odo just under 1k, I suggest you follow the breakin period, there is no hard and fast rule, If I were you? Then for the first 2500 km I will not ride beyond 60 kmph below ~6k rpm to be honest...
But that is not a rule. The Honda engine is very durable and take abuse of any Rider, all it matters how much u love your bike...
Also get your service done regurlarly, first few services are very important for the life of the engine.

            Happy Riding...

Your bike spark plug is OK, in optimum mixture. Running normal. Slighly lean though but very slightly..

You cannot change ZMRs AFR anyway, unless you remap the Oxygen sensor data stored in the ECU which is not necessary at all..

Its something similar to the below image. But you will have single lock. instead of 2 in the image. (See right side locks.)

2] Was any wire altered/cut/added that connects to the battery? if u saw the video luvurbike posted...the girl showed that the ballast wire fit directly to the stock pin of the car...

                is it that simple?
Sorry videos are blocked can't check. But there is no need to cut / trim any original wires.
Here is the wiring harness that you get.
Guys, this is the perfect explanation to change your Karizma ZMR headlight bulb. With ease I was able to change the headlight bulb following the instructions given here. The service person had told me that they need one hour to change the headlight bulb as the whole front body should be taken apart. For me, it took about 20 minutes. I replaced the original headlight with Philips Crystal Vision Halogen headlamps H4 CV 12V 60/55W and also the pilot lamps with Philips W5W which was included in the package as complementary.

The flipside is...during the run-in on highway i was able to maintain it constantly around 60 with occasional bursts.. that has helped me in long run now...

so you decide... if you can maintain the break-in conditions a ZMR can easily do Mumbai Pune anyday.. anytime..

Thanks Siddharth and bphukon. I love my bike and would prefer to complete the run-in period first.

Thanks. But I think I need pics from all sides.
I want to check whether the cooler is of the same company as that of P220's cooler.
P220's cooler is a bigger one and I think it can do cooling better than this..
I want to try it on my bro's bike. But, I cant find a name on the cooler. It might be under the cooler.... The pipes seem same for both the bikes....

Thanks , i think they have removed the PGM from that sticker or might be it came off so they removed from other side too.

veryhiphop has fitted p220 oil cooler cover on his ZMR , so it may be same in size , but if its small then why you want it ? also there are rare chances that it will be available at HeroMoto Spare shop's . And the manufacturer name sticker is on the left side which is visible in picture posted by aanesh but the sticker looks to be peeled off from there .
