i love the stock one!!!however a friend of mine suggested these filter kits as he has installed them in his PULSAR 220.

    Any suggestion will b appreciated

    thank you.
Stay away from after market filters if you want your bike to be safe and reliable. NO ONE here recommends.filters other than stock.

Must say K&N sound is addictive. My neighbour got a ZMA wid k&n (2nd hand)after seeing my ZMR. & the sound is just mindblowing. Its like a loud lion roaring. But, then again dere r negatives like engine parts getting clogged. ur engine won't last more than 20k kms.

          OT:

Amogh, if you don't mind can you please click a few pics of your Yezdi and post them here? You can have the ZMR in the background to keep the pics relevant to the thread.

Started my bike in the morning today and idled her for a minute and went for a small ride. When I had come back and parked the bike there was an oil leak from the right side of the bike. Checked thoroughly and I couldn't find the source of the leak. And also took the bike to the SVC and they asked me to drop the bike off tomorrow, as the man power was low!! I cant take my mind off it. It is so pissing off.

Can you post a few pics? Are you sure its oil leaking? Can be excess chain lube too if you see the leak near the center stand.

No man I have not lubricated the chain.. The bike has done only 330 kms. Also the oil leak patch was quite big. I don't think it can be the chain lube leak.

Check if the drain bolt is leaking engine oil. Stop riding the bike. If its engine oil leak, it may cause seizure due to low oil.

Put the bike on center stand and leave it for half an hour. Then, open the dipstick from the RHS of the casing and see the oil level. It must be between high and low marks. If not, get the whole oil drained (that you should have done anyway that you've done 300+ kms) and check the drain bolt's O ring. It may have gone bad. Do this exercise today itself if possible (any mech will do it) and report back ASAP!

ID:	1870743 when the new version of apache was launched one thing i liked the most was the lights which looked like eyebrows of pilot lamps so i tried that for my ZMR too and got this result this looks really good in evening when their is no need of headlamps but you still need to put on some lights.

I stopped riding the bike, yes! Switched the engine on, idled for a minute, and checked the dipstick level... It was a little over the lower mark, just above it!! As far as I checked now the drain bolt looks fine, no leakages from that side. And the oil leak as of now is gone..
