Just saw the pics of the new ZMR. To me apart from the twin headlights, the bike looks ordinary. The sleek regal look is gone and it now looks a bit awkward. I don't know if I'd choose ZMR again for my next ride 😔

We have just seen the pics mate. wait for the bike to officially hit the roads and see it in flesh. AFAIK, the admins have mentioned that the bike looks stunning in flesh. if even in Flesh it looks bad, well.. too bad hero.. you are going to lose your stocks

Its time to replace the front brake lever.. you can also have a temporary jugaad.. use the insulation tape at the point of contact on the brake lever take it as thick as possible so that it presses the switch.. it worked for me till i removed the tape for some stupid reason..

          2. If the above is fine, remove the brake switch, open it and clean the small terminals and ensure the button of the switch doesnt move up and down..

          Attached pics..

If still the problem persists, then time to change the switch..

If the issue still persists.. time to chanfe the lever costs a matter of 40/- and the lever will cost you max 100/-

I initially fixed the switch, worked for few days.. but the button wears out which is the only reason you might have to change the complete switch for.. then i changes the switch, the issue started again after few months.. then had to replace the brake lever too along with the switch..

You can use the Karizma switch as well..

No it's not worth it. Still if you feel you need a filter then go for UNI foam type. K&N are simply shitty in quality. Dunno why people run behind that brand.

Guys got my bike today. Ignition coil was checked and injector was cleaned. They were fine. All electrical connections were verified in front of me. A bit of rust was accumulated in the fuel-filter which feeds the pump. Apart from that, everything was normal. Shall take the bike out for a spin and in traffic where the engine heats up to see if the problem still persists. If it occurs again then definitely it's the fuel pump.

Stock filter is best. ANY after market filter would eventually kill the engine. Expect a 0.5 hp increase in hp at crank, not even at the wheel. Useless IMO.

someone is telling me that we get 2 to3 bhp increase in power and also an exceptionally good pickup and top speed too, because the injected fuel burns with more pressure of air due to K&N,and he also said me the change in sound is due to this reason that fuel burns with a blast.......................plzzz help i m confused now??????

what kinda blast did he mean?? a Bomb Blast?? Jokes apart.. coming back to the topic. It is of no use. you can get a maximum of 0.5bhp gain like Divya has mentioned and that too not at the wheels so you barely feel the difference unless your mind is playing a game..

You can go ahead and do it if you still want to try. but again. you are taking a risk of ruining your bike. nothing is better than the stock filter.. If you are going to change the filter to KnN.. then please post your reviews and maybe by the time your bike completes 20,000 kms with the after market filter, you will have to change the Engine

Abhi used a After market air filter and after fitting the stock air filter back, he loves the bike more.. The Karizma and ZMR are never meant for harsh engine/sound.. they are loved for the smooth ride.. if you wanted more power.. why did you get the ZMR? you could have gone for the P220

Yup, if you plonk in a filter to a karizma, it would be like asking the gentle spidey to turn into a hulk and you end up with a not-so-cool setup! LOL! The bike looses all it's butter-smooth characteristics. If you wanted rough sound (read noise), you should have gone for a p220..

Well, filters other than stock do not filter the air properly as a result of which, dust enters your engine. After that, you do the thinking. There's no need to ask anyone in this. Kaizmas are known for gentle and smooth operations. Not like other bikes. Ride it in the mid-rpm ranges (80-90) and you will feel the bike glide

Rode for about 40kms in city. 20kms one way. Bike was heated up but engine did not go off. Whatever the problem was, I guess it's vanished.
If it appears again then it definitely is da pump.
