Abhi, get System G from BP petrol bunk and start using it ...I feel you are having issue of the Petrol lines /injector having contamination.

Otherwise buy Pure Acetone from any Chemists , or Chemist suppliers to College Labs and use 1.5ml per every liter of Petrol for the next 2~3 tank full amount ie.,about30 ~45 liters..

Has a great 1 and 1/2 year with Shell AX7 SM, but I have am left with only 2 bottles of it :'(.... And most importantly it's not available in the shop where I used to buy it in Kolkata (philips more near Maulali)...

Never ever found it in Durgapur. Can anyone suggest me a substitute to this?? Is Castrol Magnetic usable with ZMR?? Or atleast point me to shop near central kolkata where these will be available...

Will be waiting for the reply from friends and specially from Kolkata...

I can just say close your eye and use it.. It last till 2500KM max... But never ever felt any harshness even when nearing a oil change... I will suggest you to buy as number of bottles as possible... I was in a plan to 6-7 bottles but my bad luck didn't get it...

I have been using it for more than 1 and 1/2 years, so the duration itself speaks of its type!!! Just go for it.. Inbetween where did you manage to get this oil?? If in Kolkata can please suggest me the place.

Why don't you check Shell petrol bunks? They stock most Shell oils.

Shell AX7 is excellent for Honda engines. We have two ZMRs here who have been using it since an year. I have used a couple of times on my Karizma too and it was very good. In fact, its the best semi-synthetic oil that you can get for Honda engines.

In case if you are not finding it, go to Shell India Website and take the regional number and call them. Tell them that its not available. They would definitely help you.

The problem with castrol is, there are many duplicate ones on a rotation.. which means, you wont know which is original and which is duplicate.. the shell oil are much better in terms of keeping the engine clean and improved performance as the engine doesnt get too hot

Yes it is really helpful in keeping the Petrol route clean and injector healthy.

To add here with my experiences i have been a user of IFTEX SYSTEM G for more than 5 years. I get it from Bharat petroleum pump and i can vouch for its effectiveness. WIth regular use bike feels smoother and more responsive. Presently using in JOY, CBZ EXTREME, and pleasure with good results. And regarding oil then let me add here i have used both VEEDOL SWIFT 10W 40 and SHELL AX7 for considerable time in my Joy. Both are excellent oils while the VEEDOL swift scores a little better rating. I have once ridden my Joy on the swift for 5k kms without changing and oil didn't show that it was time for replacement. If anybody can get Veedol SWIFT then use and then report here, you all will be very satisfied.

You will not get SHELL AX7 in Kolkatta now as the distributor in eastern zone has ceased to function and thus no new supplies of Shell oil. The same here in Bhubaneswar as no supply, this has been confirmed by my retailer friend as no distributors presently in eastern zone.

Regarding the Iftex System G, I will add my two cents. I have used this in Wagon-R for 3 years from 2007 to 2009 for 40,000 kms, especially mixed with fuel from BP. The car was very smooth all these 3 years. In fact, to test it I skipped using it a few times, and I clearly noticed the difference, the extra-smoothness has gone. In those three years, never needed to clean the injectors. I had a very experience with Shell Super fuel; the car knocked considerably that I had to take it service station and drain the fuel.

I don't know how good the System G works for two wheelers with carb, but it would definitely help in keeping the injectors clean in FI systems. Using it occasionally would be really a good idea.

NOTE: Please add the System G before filling the fuel so that it would mix with the fuel thoroughly. If you fill fuel and then add system G, it may not mix properly.
