It usually is present just below the headlight dome near the front mud guard. I guess while cleaning/service somebody twisted it out of shape or pushed it somewhere. maybe that's why it is not stopping the bike when needed but it is pretty much still present in the circuit since your bike is cranking up!

Divya Sharan, I remember seeing abhi7013s bike starting without the bank angle sensor, I was standing right next to him... the bike wasn't starting and he suspected it was the bank angle sensor.. initially it was fit upside down and hence it wasn't starting. Then when it was fit correctly it still wasn't, but when he removed it the bike cranked perfectly....

abhi7013 if wat divya bhai is saying is right then I guess you better check if the thingy removed is indeed the bank angle sensor

Ya bro it was the sensor only that was removed. Divya Sharan- bro when I had a fall, the engine switched off and on picking up the bike and starting it, it did not start. The engibe kept cranking but since fuel was cut, the bike did not start.
And recently, when I was with snehit bhai, the same symptoms were shown. Even push start did not work as fuel supply was cut off.
So the mech simply removed the sensor and bypassed it.
And the blinking light am talking of is the warning light which switches on in orange upon turning on the ignition. It keeps blinking in a certain pattern and there are various patterns for various issues. On crossing 30kmph, the blinking stops and light remains on constantly.
The sensor btw is located below the meter console on the right. Here is the sensor in the pic.

Do not bypass the bank angle sensor.. It saved me and my bike lot of times. Once i flew ( like a superman )and fell ahead of the bike. If the sensor didn't work, i would have been hit by my own lovely bike since i was doing 90kmph when this happened. And many small incidents where i twisted the throttle while falling down. But the bike turned off before that.

Ride safe!!

Once you fall and the engine is cut-off, you got to turn off the ignition using key and then turn it on again to reset. Else the warning light will stay and engine will just keep cranking and wont start.

Well, the first time I had a fall I did the same. On switching on and off, the engine started. But in this recent case, no matter how many times we tried, it just did not work. So the sensor had to be removed. On shaking it, there are stuffs inside which move. Its obviously broken inside. Need to get a new one.

Before saying anything further, is that 20w50 recommended oil grade for your bike. . ? Isn't 10w30 the recommended oil grade for your bike. . ? Why are you going for something else. . ? I think anything above the recommended oil grade isn't good for your engine, the first one (10w) should be kept constant or less than that but not more than that, correct me anyone if am wrong here. . . Don't you see the grade before buying it. . ? Why didn't you go for Shell instead, it's an alternative to Motul with a lesser price tag, . . Seeing this chart, it seems that Hero bikes can't handle 20w50 engine grade oil, so it's best to stick with something like 10w XX. . . Got it. . ? I don't know what's the effect it's gonna happen after this, may be someone else will help you here. . . My take's over. . .

Beach please, that's a regular Xbhp sticker . . .

Is that your kids name above that. . ?

Coming to the oil department, no much from my side, that's all I know. . . Wait, @B7ACKTHORN can we expect your help here regarding this oil grade. . ?

Ask them how to maintain it for 500 kms and then change off to a recommended oil grade, use the chart provided by me above to decide which is best for your bike, also if you are considering Shell then that's also good and kinda equivalent to Motul they say, try that out too, I have been using it in my Unicorn from past some time and I am really happy with it, vibs reduced, sound's smooth and butter smooth engine. . .

Cheers!!!

Raghav, drain that oil within 500 kms. Let me tell you why.
1. Engine would become sluggish.
2. Pick up would reduce.
3. Mileage would drop.

Rakesh, the ideal recommended grade for Karizma is 10w40 and it is certainly better than the crappy 10w30 oil anyway.
