Sorry I donot know the actual names of the tools but we have a lot of them in home toolkit. So confirming.

And what is a multi head t-spanner? An image please.

    ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

And since we are discussing tools, please please list down the most required and useful tools.
I bought the bike 2nd hand (ZMA, not ZMR) so did not get a toolkit and I have no idea what tools are useful to have with oneself.

Yes the image in reference is a monkey spanner.

T Shape Handle Slotted Screwdriver & Magnetic Bits | eBay
The above is an example for the kinda t spaner set i was talking, but please go for a better quality ones, cheap ones do tend to break/bend. I prefer a ratchet spanner because of better functionality but the the design of the T makes the bolts/screws more accessible.

      My Toolkit:
      Tubleless puncture kit
      foot pump
      T spanner set
      Monkey Spanner
      Allen key set
      WD 40
extra 8 mm nut/bolt (most of the zmr body bolts are 8mm)
      Extra cables
      Star/Flat reversible screwdriver
      insulation tape
      wire cutters
      2m extra wire
      Hero toolkit

Hey ya guys. Please smeone list out the tools required for our bikes. Specially to remove the fairing.

And another clarification. Experienced guys remove the fairing as a whole, without separating the left and right side body right. But can it be EASILY removed by seperating out the fairing? I mean by detaching the visor and removing the left fairing first and then the right?
And also, if I follow this method, say I remove the right top fairing, then the left top fairing, in order to gain access to the headlight assy, even on both the fairings being removed, will the head-light dome still be attached to the bike? Like how the speedo remains in its position when the ful fairing is removed?
If it remains attached, can I be able to remove it easily?

Ans: pushing it too hard mate. So, simply just give a slight shove instead of a huge kick. that's it. moreover, if u can't lock the front handlebar. what do u do? move the key to off position & then again to the lock position. U've got to do something similar. I get it done 100% of the time. Though it did take me 4-5 days to learn the same. This shud not be one of ur "reasons" to not choose the ZMR.
I'll tell u with the ZMR u'll get the highest fuel efficiency amongst premium bikes. Gives a constant 38-40. Tho I do a lot of clutch riding. + Awesome pickup. Even better than R15 V2.0 with a top speed of 128 km/h which is enough for our Indian roads. Only problem I wud say are the tires. They shud've been at least a 120/130 profile which wud make us feel @ home @ high speeds.
If u want a reliable bike go for ZMR, CBR, R15. If u want a VFM package go for 200ns, Duke200 or CBR 250. To be frank ZMR, R15 & CBR 150 are overpriced if u look from the point of view of price-to-bhp ratio. But, bhp is not everything. I'd have bought a CBR 250 but it was way too pricey for me. So, I went wid the ZMR. Also, Duke200 is for the young & gaudy. So, kindly test ride the bike to see if it suits ur tastes.
@Night_Shade Which profile Michelin tires have u got in front?

            A positive update!
I test drove the ZMR again today, from the same showroom where I did last weekend, but this time I got a different bike (with just 2Km on odo), and to my joy, I could get this one to neutral without any trouble!
As I had mentioned earlier, I just couldn't get to the neutral position with the engine on, on the previous ZMR that I drove, and I had to move the bike back n forth with gears engaged and engine off to find the neutral. However, on today's ZMR I didn't have to perform any of these tricks to get to neutral. A "soft" touch really did it.
However, I'd still say that my 8 years old Honda Unicorn's gear shifting is more sure-slotted and provides a better feedback.

I think the previous bike was an extreme one off case. Due to a bad clutch cable adjustment may be!?

I'd have made a booking today only, but they offered very low exchange value for my current Unicorn (15-16k compared to my expected 19-20k).

You just spoke my mind out regarding the choice of bike - I couldn't agree more! I too, like you, value reliability, safety, and a trouble-free and comfortable ride the more the price : power ratio. Yes, I also had considered exact bikes you had suggested - the R15 and the CBRs - but gave them up after test riding them because of their hunched riding postures, lack of comfort and the forbidding price of the CBR-250.

Not getting the Foot rest anywhere in Mumbai, checked with all the Service Centers. Does anyone knowns where i will get it as it becomes very difficult to ride without a foot rest.

Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

The Apache footrest is a direct fit costs rs110 ... I had got one for my bike recently... here(BLR) the problem was no SVC had all the pieces of the footrest it was like a scavenger hunt, fed up I decided to go with the Apache one. Looks similar too

About the high beam and indicators I think your left side switch assembly is damaged, have it checked.

I had ordered one from DX.com ( Airsoon Sport Digital Tire Gauge - Free Shipping - DealExtreme ) one year earlier for my car (Ford Figo Diesel Titanium), and it's working great till date. I always carry it in my car.
Don't let the "made in china" tag fool you! It's very accurate, has illuminated display, and has a sturdy build! Check out the reviews.

Disclaimer: Shipment from DX.com takes around 3-4 weeks, but ALWAYS reaches you. You may wish to check your local stores.

I have never removed the fairing in its entirety. I have always removed it in parts. Remove the black plastic around the console, RVMs, visor, then both lower fairings and then the upper fairing. The HL assy and console are bolted onto the frame using separate joints. They can be removed later. In the same way, you can unscrew the tank after removing the fairing by removing the bolts at its underside near the console.

Guys, someone help me get a G Power spark plug for my bike. I have been searching for quite sometime, but in vain.
                            Model Number - DPR8EGP
                            Cost - ~140 rupees.

I mentioned the cost because I've no shame in receiving the same as a gift from my friends across the nation!
Seriously, I'd transfer the money but somebody get me the goddamn plug!
