    hi,

    bike has completed 8.5k and will be due for servicing shortly...
    No issues yet and i have changed oil at every 2K kms....
    should i go for change in air filter this time?
    Any more changes that i should think of?

      As per the manual; Air Filter need to replace on every 12,000 KM....or in case if air filter is in bad condition...

        And how to check the condition??
        and ya forgot to mention.. changed the Front disc pads...

          in dusty conditions its to be changed around 7k kms..so if u travel in a lot of dust u need to change early

            change oil every 1000-1200 kms..the factory oil from hero doesnt last long...

              Hmm... even i found that after 1500 kms.. the engine sound changes....

                Couple of questions

                Has anybody tried the CBR oil in ZMR? Is it a good replacement option to the oil they fill in the service centres?

                Any air filter replacement suggestions? Can we put in a UNI filter? If we change the filter, would we need to make any adjustments to the AFR settings?

                  I have buy the CBR250 oil FS...(check in previous page post)...but not yet changed it...

                    HM engine oil also produces noise on change of gears...

                        But i guess HH oil is not so bad also since some members have clocked plus 15K on this oil and no issues...
                        gear change... yes its bit hard... and finding neutral is hardest...

                        What about air filter.. how to check if its damaged???

                          When you found the air filter with lot of dust, dirt, and color of air filter is black after clean too..

                            Clean it during every service and replace every 10k for best results. This is how a new and bad clogged airfilter looks like.

                                Gear shift on my 5year old Zma has gone really hard, what could be the cause? It has done just 12K kms. Also, whats the cost of a new air filter, never got a chance to get it changed?
