I switched to Projector in Feb'12. So far so good. No issues.

Projector used is same as used in Pulsar 220 and even the bulb is P220 stock bulb which is H7 12V 55 watts bulb.

Let me know if there are other questions. Anyone else here who uses Projector set up? Any one else done some nice mod? Any one else who can share something unique done to the bike? This thread has so less pictures

ZMR with 22.5 Bhp

Friends & Bhpians,

Have you heard anything that Hero Moto Corp manufactures ZMR with some modifications in

Headlights and 22.5 Bhp?
Available for 1.5 lac OTR and a mileage of 20 Kmpl.

Yesterday had gone to one of my known Mobile Shop to change the back panel of my Nokia C5-05.
(Got injured Friday when it popped out from my Shirt Pocket when ZMR bounced on a stretch)

Met a guy with a black ZMR in the same shop. Got his ZMR from MUMBAI.
He said that he got for 1.6 lac including 10k for transportation.
Yes from a dealer in Kolkata and registered here.

Please see that these are all claimed by him.

Offered me a Ride also.
My take was pathetic I mean since the TWO month old Bike was not suitable for Ride.
Mirrors gone and front also was not aligned.
Honestly it was more pathetic to my Bike also.

But I never had the guts to offer my

Angel.
Somehow without inquiring much I simply ran away

from that place!!!

Sachin Nair, how did you fix P220s projector in your ZMR? Could you please show me the post where you have posted the details if any? I have a P220's headlight with me lying idle. Would love to fit it to my Karizma.

You should have inquired more about how the bhp bumped up to 22, and you should have taken a ride of his bike and told him its the same as yours and you got your bike for just 1.1 lac.

Is ZMR's battery has enough power to support 55W bulb? If so why HERO people replace those 35W with 55W while manufaturing? Huh!

Yes, at least the 2009 & 2010 Models were pretty good in qualities for sure.
Even the side fairings were of superior build.
Not only the Batteries even the Reflectors can easily withstand 55W/60W lamps.
Had been using

Night Breaker H4 for more than a year or so.

ZMR's dynamo produces 232w instead of 188w of zma-r & that's more than enough for these slight upgradations..

I did not install on it on my own. This work has been done by SMG Customizing [ Search him on FB if required] I just told him my requirement and he got it done for me.

I did not face any issues in the past 3 months after the fitment so I can vouch to the fact that there are no issues in installing a 55w bulb in ZMR.

Carbon Fibre Stickering of Silencer

Carbon Fibre or Vinyl Stickering of ZMR

Mark the Edges & Round Holes closely. The border is also sealed by BLACK Radium (being more sticky).
Chances of getting peeled of from corners is minimal.
Only risk is the kiss of other vehicles and this is a nice way to avoid unwanted kisses!!!

The advantage of Vinyl over Radium is that it can be peeled over and cleaned.
There are no marks on it and can be done again.
This being more thick can absorb the Heat of Silencer.
While doing this make sure that the casing is opened and done on the lap of the person.
Taken care and moreover there should not be any air pockets.
Need to do this in one go and the edges and curves need to be cut with a blade and taken care of.

This is the one that needs real workmanship and I guess the Stickers are available in e-Bay also.
Done very nicely with fantastic detailing.
Though technically Rs 100.00 or Rs 150.00 but mine is FREE!!!

Can you show an overall picture of how it looks with the bike? [ Hint - Click a normal bike picture where the exhaust is visible

Found the details of it , as per the radium shop guys here its a radium & they have some kind of solution which they roll over it to make it sprinkling & fatty . They shown me some number plates on which they done it . Looks very good .

Good job Satyajitda , i got my carbon fiber vinly from ebay before 10 days , but none of radium guy here ready to stick it as they said it needs Hot Gun to stick neatly without air bubbles .

Found a lot more videos on youtube how to stick it , will do it myself , if i can make it shiny as the guy in this youtube video made then will add it to Side pannels black fiber , meter console surronding black fiber , rear mudguard & may be to alloy wheels too

Hi guys,

Its time to change now, had a great experience with M45, done 26k kms journey with it, as it is now not available in market so wont be able to again go with it, Now looking for Pirelli SD. called some of the vendors , but they dont have stock for 110-90/18, else they have gave options of 120-90/18 (Rs. 3500) or 100/90-18 (Rs. 3200).

Need some vendors for pirelli in the area between goregaon East till mira road.

if any one have any idea for the same. should i go with 120-90/18, or directly fit 100/90-18. but on pirelli i have not seen 100-90/18.

Need suggestion

Pirelli 100/9018 is not available. Sirac 100/90-18 is a direct fit,TT Tire,Sirac 120/90-18 is a heavy one,will reduce mileage,acceleration and topend,also you will have to cut or remove the chain case to fix the tire.

Hi friends!!
I have to go out of state for 15 days . parking my zmr in my garage.
Does parking the bike for 15 days ideally effect the bike engine,pgm-fi,or the self start etc please tell as my bike is only 2 months old.

my friend got p220 fi and he told me that in same situation his bike got some problems.

is same case with zmr
