Its best to clean Fuel Injector in every service or alternative...because Fi bikes need to be taken care and adulterated fuel is a enemy of Fi bikes...

Not all Petrol pump sells a pure petrol...almost every petrol pump sells adulterated petrol...

As for Oil Booster...i think its an EOD (Engine Oil Additive)....i have used it year back...seems to be no use...

If you mean pilots then go for Tourer Gear 9SMD's I've been using them for over a year and all I can say is that, MONEY WELL SPENT!

If you talking about the headlight itself, then any 55/60 from OSRAM would do, they're the best in class, I've been using an OSRAM DELA 55/60 for a year and they're worth every single penny of the 46/- you spent. You can find em at any Maruti Service outlet.

For white light in headlight bulb go for Osram Nightbreaker....not pure white just a little white....

Is there any battery drain issue if i use projector headlamp since the stock battery is 6 amp??

I dont think there would be as one of our Friend Sachin Nair is using Projector on Stock Battery....

I think no issues..most of the ZMR owners are also using 55w bulb...without any issue...

hey hi.. i too installed a k&n r1100 to my zmr .. .humm now moving forward . my mechanic fitted it into the air filter box itself . and kept my filter box open .. now what my problem is. about the sound. i really want huge roarring sound but it fails . the sound is upto only 3...3.5 rpm after that it goes and the roaring is even not that loud.

now what i want to know is

1st sholud it be fitted directly to the opening of the Fi system ( carbuerator in simple ) or my fitting is good inside the original filter box fitted to the pipe isside it. ???

2nd i am using k&n R1100 . is it appropiate for my zmr or should i use R1060 ( smaller than R1100 ) ????

3rd what sound u get from ur fitting ?

I heard philips are brighter & costly , but those chinease are also brighter & won't cost more unless you buy from seller who asks for double cost .

For headlight ZMR needs H4/HS1 type .

For pure white HID or if want halogen then 4 options from philips

1) Blue Vision ultra : Using it its not pure white . Yellowish white . Philips Lighting India - BlueVision ultra - Philips

2) Diamond Vision : Its a Blueish white Philips Lighting India - DiamondVision - Philips

3) Crystal Vision : Not seen yet Philips Lighting India - CrystalVison - Philips

Also some peoples using osram night breaker & said low beam is yellowish while high beam is whiteish , don't know about it haven't seen yet .

And there are some H4 Led bulbs are also available , they would be fully white but i think it is not good to choose them over halogen .

If you put only projector & use same 35 watt or 55 watt bulb then no problem .

Yes fuel injector cleaning need to be mentioned during service...there is an extra cost of it...only labor....no parts to be changed in this process....

mine fuel injector has been cleaned twice in 25k kms ie 10k kms each (though both times the injector came out clean), without any extra charge thanks to my trusty HMC mech at varanasi

My ZMR has goes for 3 times injector clean....and has feel the difference...however after next tank fill the bike became harsh again...i guess this is due to adulterated fuel...

One question: I haven't seen the process of cleaning injector in ZMR...how do they do it?...since ZMR has 12 port injector...does every port get cleaned by removing from bike?

it is simple:
1: open the tank screw (located under seat)
2: pull the tank slightly up and insert something under it so that it retain its position.
3: now that the throttle body is exposed, disconnect the wires from its slots.
4: open two screws on top which holds the injector from o-ring spanner (it was 6no but not sure).
5: pull out the injector from throttle body and then the injector from its socket(at this point some petrol will fall from the back of the injector but dont worry its ok).
6: clean it with petrol and pressurized air so that all the 12 holes are visible clearly.
7: now for fitting it back follow the above steps in reverse.

its hardly 10min job.

BTW the injector has 12 holes not 12 ports afaik.
next time when the injector is opened ill post some pics.

EDIT: oh and i almost forgot if you are cleaning it by yourself then after getting the injector fitted back in the throttle body, be sure to switch on and off ignition atleast 3 times without starting bike so that fuel pump creates the fuel pressure at the injector.
secondly do not install the injector back until all the 12 holes are clearly visible otherwise bike will run sluggish.
