check the threading... in case of RVM's they are the culrpits.... get re-threading done if the threads are worn out.....

SOLUTION IF THE PROBLEM IS :

Whole RVM unit (attached with 2 allen Bolts [Probably size 5] to body):

The rubber thingy that is below RVM gets slipped while Fairing Remove or Re-fit, Replace if worn out or missing. If that is not the problem, Take a two way tape make two holes in it and attach it below RVM Base. You're good to go.

Just the Turnable part of RVM (attached with one allen bolt) :

Remove the allen bolt and replace the washers[old assembly has 6 washers and New has 4(not sure)] below it (old ZMR mirror assembly sucks, if you have Old assembly I suggest you replace it with new one)

I am also facing that weired issue , my right rvm become loose after every 15 days & moves freely . I found a simple solution for it Just rearrange the vicers / washers , rvm is good for a month , but can't fix permanently , but this time i applied FEVIBOND on each vicer / washer & on that main allen screw .

Will replace that main allen screw / nut with new one . Is that Honda's allen screw be straight fit ? which is coming with their replacement kit .

im using it as tubeless the handling and braking have became superb.
though im facing some problem with the tyre, air is escaping suddenly from 25 to 0. im worried about this it happened with me twice. any idea...
              Hey Maverik,

I am also using Sirac Street 100/90-18 tyres on my ZMR but i am using them with Tube. I agree this is the best tyre for ZMR. Lot better grip when compared to stock tyres. I dont have any issue with Tyre pressure reducing.

I got the tyre from authorized michelin dealer and he told me that this tyre can't be used as Tubeless. So he advised me to put the tube.

May be since you are using it as Tubeless air pressure may be reducing fast.

              • ROFL at my previous post for the spelling .

Oh btw, Single allen bolt (attached to the turnable part) is not available with the Service Centre Guys.
As I'd to change Right RVM full assembly, I decided to change Left RVM assembly instead of changing washers every week .

It is not a replacement kit. Whole RVM unit is changed (They have made some changes in the way RVM is mounted and coz of that new RVM doesn't get loose AT ALL !)

P.S. Avoid any kind of lubrication to washers.

                • Hello everyone !!!

At what rpm the gears should be shifted normally(city rides) and long empty stretches (to attain top speed) ??
                  I don't brake rules , I merely test their elasticity ;)

It is the same allen bolt, just check for the size.
P.S. Any mushroom head allen bold of the same size will fit.

yes since it is a tubed tyre, the air is escaping from the walls when the pressure in the tyre is less. since i use a foot pump to fill the air and the gauge on the pump has error, i accidently used to fill air less than recommended. when i inquired the dealer he said either i should get it tubed or fill the air slightly above the recommended pressure say 34-35 so that the tyre walls are stick to the rims well. As i wont be using the tyre with tube in any case, so im maintaining the pressure at 34-35 in the rear so right now there is no problem whats so ever.

                              • Long back I had posted that Michelin Pilot Sporty is one rear tyre option which has stock specs (size and tubeless). Not sure if any of you guys use it. Its a pretty good tyre, at least better than stock. Haven't come across a good front tyre option with stock specs yet.

After 1 yr 8 months of ownership finally something gave away in my bike. Today I had given the bike for service. Received a call that switch needs to be replaced coz a wire had got cut. Horn wasn't working due to this. He told 700 bucks and electrical items not covered in warranty. Verified what he told was true by checking the owner's manual.
