Guys can any one please help me, while my bike is on main stand and i wash my bike it tends to rock a little from one side to another is it normal? as none of my other bike do so.

You means to say that on main stand bike get shake if anyone push or pull it...yes it normal...infant all HM bike have this feature....

Guess you've been kissing a few speed breakers lately. Both mine(ZMA) and friends(FAZER16) when bought was perfect, but after riding through harsh terrains the center stand took a few beatings and now the bike rocks slightly sideways when on main stand.

Please explain.... hearing this for the first time....

^^ Some speed breakers here are a wee bit higher and will cause the center stand to scrape against them, which will in turn slightly bend the base and hence when we put the bike on main stand it will wobble abit, its a common issue here. My friends FAZER16's is still kinda OK, but my ZMA's stand has become real unstable so now usually will park the bike in 3 point stance.

if its normal I feel it's a good feature as if someone were to scrape your bike while parking it would have a little play to to absorb lil bumps.

Ashwin that's highly impossible as my bike is just a month old and I have been noticing this from day one . Anyway thanx for the suggestion.

Accident!!!

Hi guys..

Had a fall 2 weeks back... I was coming back from office when a car came in from left side and the biker ahead of me stopped his bike suddenly and i also hit my brakes... though hitting him n then a fall n my ZMR skidding against the road...

I got up and found that the bike was still running.... even after the fall??? i mean shouldn't it get off cause of the bank angle sensor???

coming to the damages... My Devil took all the beating... She got scratched from the top of the faring from right side and the silencer's cover got badly scratched...

Handle got bent to the right... although my dad made it fine by loosening some screws on the T... but it's still not fine... I feel the right suspension is bent on the inside... which is why the handle is still not in the center...

And for me... my right knee got badly scratched for which it is still not fine.. i know how i ride my devil to office... and my left feet turned n swell after an hour of the accident... and my woodland shoes also got bad..

anyways.. here's the problem... after a week of continuous riding... i feel bike is completely fine... touch wood.. I think i can get it re-painted, get the suspension aligned and it should be fine...

Can anyone suggest me any service center which can re-paint the bike and check for any other damages?? all in all it can repair the bike completely...

For damages suggest to take your bike to SVC (where you have done all your bike services) and let them check for the issues and claim under insurance...

For suspension not recommend for repair...get it changed under insurance claim...

Returned from uttarakhand tour yesterday. In my bike there is a khatar-khatar noise from the rear on bad roads. first i thought it is from silencer but the noise is coming when im hitting the rear wheel.
any idea about this???

I am thinking to make a sheet with part's of ZMR , with their part numbers & price . This would came handy & give a idea about how much it gonna cost nearly .
So all guys owning ZMR or previous owners of ZMR please kindly post the bills of part you changed or pm me if you want to email them so i can give my email id .

Center stand is attached to main frame by a round pin , by the time with use of center stand the pin got warn slowly resulting in little motion of bike when we put on center stand , also some time the problem is from day one which is manufacturing defect . But not a big problem to worry .

Oh , really bad , but good that your are fine . Take your bike to ASC where you do servicing's they will make the insurance claim & other thing .

guys can anyone tell me the cost of all plastic parts in zmr.. i mean if i want to change all the plastic parts including the fair (but not the headlights assy) how much cost would incur approximately?? thanks.

Hey Guys ..on 18/jan/2012 my bike turned 2 lol
odo read 15926kms .....hardly ride
went to Fortpoint ....gave a nice service .....it took whole day for my bike to service
fairing was removed and refitted for vibrations
oil cooler was removed and fins bend was taken proper with help of some small screw driver
oil was totally drained and new oil was added
chain guard was washed and chain"s dirt was cleaned with petrol and it was lubed with grease
throttle A cable was changed
new excide battery was added
two panel of right was changed under warranty
and meter was replaced with new one
air filter and spark plug was cleaned
and all bolts were tighten
and then she got a nice wash
followed by polish
she looks like brand new
gave a full tank petrol while returning home

why did u change speedo? is it the one with white backlit now?

Please do post bill scan copy so as to get part numbers detail & price . BTW why you got old meter ? If it is changed then why not the new one blue console ?

i changed speedo coz rpm meter was having little problem ....so i manged to change it ..with orange one ...tho i got option of white also
