Review of Honda 10w30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil
@ ALL :- Thanks for wishes.
Review of Honda 10w30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil.
As soon as i came to known that Honda has came up with 10w30 FS oil for its CBR 250, i have start searching for the engine oil in mumbai, called 1-2 big dealers in Mumbai but they dont have it with them, then went to one of the dealer in Nashik and fortunately i got the 10w30 FS oil from one of the Honda dealers in Nashik, on the same day changed the engine oil and till date travelled approx 1500 kms. So what i observed after 1500 kms ride is as follows:
1). Available for Rs. 504 per litre (far low as compare to other FS oil in market)
2). As of the same grade of ZMR 10w30.
3). Engine Noise has drastically changed, now feeling it more smoother and refine even after a long rides, which i was missing previously very badly.
4). Gear shifting is not that smooth but well better then stock oil. enjoying finding the neutral gear in one shot at signal else i have to do lot of to and fro to get it.
5). Drain period not known but as i do lot of highway riding so will expecting it to last for 4k kms.
So if i want to rate it out of 5 i will give it 4 for sure.Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

It would be the opposite .. i.e a fully synthetic oil by virtue of it's wonderful slickness (reduced friction) and better flow (improvement in oil circulation) reduce the heat (temperature) of the running engine .This benefit would be more apparent when the bike is stressed to it's limits for long periods than in normal riding .

Ok, FS oil seems to be better, i was really confuse as someone told me that it will produce more heat...Originally posted by Pinaki View PostIt would be the opposite .. i.e a fully synthetic oil by virtue of it's wonderful slickness (reduced friction) and better flow (improvement in oil circulation) reduce the heat (temperature) of the running engine .This benefit would be more apparent when the bike is stressed to it's limits for long periods than in normal riding .
