How a oil cooler has a fins isn't it become air cooler
Oil cooler,Oil heat radiator or the radiator(in layman's terms) is one and same thing.Heat exchange radiator works by taking heat from hotter medium(which is oil in ZMR or water or coolent in cars) and passing the heat to cooler medium(which is air generally in vehicles).

In Oil Cooled; engine oil is circulated in the engine when it is running, because along with the engine the oil also becomes hot on running.

Money can get a 1942 BSA these days, but even Warren Buffet's whole Bank account can't get us our leg back!

                      • No it won't, because the sounds you comparing are from inline4 cylinder engine for ZX6R, single cylinder motorcycles cannot produce such a sound.period.

This is my first post on xbhp...Thanks to my bro "Xbhp Drifter" in whose footsteps I follow. A surprising fact...have never ridden a bike till today. Sat on classic, p220 and cbr250r to get a feel of the riding position...and the best i felt was cbr250r. After several brainstorming sessions and reading almost every post for Honda CBR250r, karizma zmr and Enfield classic...shortlisted karizma (never sat on this bike till today). I feel its the most practical city ride (My purpose : To and fro from office at Andheri and ofcourse a lil bit power for occasional touring). I have booked a Hero Karizma Zmr and awaiting her delivery this diwali. Kindly assist me with below queries.

                          1. Dealer says no accessories with the bike...not even helmet..is this normal for a bike that costs 1.13 lacs? ( I have my bro's extra helmet..a huge motocross one...Dont like it though)
                          2. Mandatory things to check for, when i go to collect my bike on the d-day?
                          3. What should a novice rider like me be careful of, while riding the karizma?
                          4. No leg guard....anything else to protect the bike during fall? (other than Frame slider, since its not available for karizma)
                          5. I am applying for a learning license. Do i get it on the same day when i go to RTO?
                          6. I am 5ft 7.5in, 92 kgs..Is it enough to handle Zmr? ( i felt the cbr250r vey light..I guess, bcoz the seating is low. Heard karizma's the tallest..hence the concern)

Planning to ride Drifter's unicorn and then touch the karizma. Still have a month with me till delivery.

I have read the touring blogs of alankar, vishwas and sachin....awe inspiring.

Lastly and most importantly......I am happy to be a part of this community. Spare me for my childish queries.
Your weight is not going to be an issue for riding ZMR.
The lack of leg guard is a hassle and it cannot get crash bobbins as well...so u have to live with it .
it will be nice if you get some practice on other bikes before jumping on zmr. though u can ride it, but if incase god forbids u have a fall,,, the bike will be crying for spares...so ride easy and don't fall

you have to buy the helmet by yourself, you can check funks in bandra for a nice helmet. LS2, AGV are good brands.

check for scratches on panels when taking delivery, and if possible go for rear tyre change to Pirelli Spot demon or Michellin M45, the mrf is pretty sad. You can go to metro tires at grant road for the same

hope these answer all your queries

Yes....m learning on my bro's unicorn. He has an LS2...I will get a good one for me too.

Will surely check for things you mentioned.

If I change the tires...won't the warranty be void?? and are those stock ones so bad

Lemme know how to clean my bike?...white is gonna get soooo dirty
