I wish I could get a good mechanic out of HM... I am not the type to shout or make a scene in the Service centre, I cant bring myselves to do that!

    PS: I have requested them multiple times and also I have tried all the service centres in Hyderabad! @#$%^
    Find a good local mechanic and shoot a mail to Hero Moto about this.

      Place an order for the fairing & other parts at svc & tell them to make VOR & you will pay charges for it which are around 10 % of cost but the parts will be there in 3 days. As i got here.

      If you have time them open the fairing step by step note down screws positions & locks so you can fit the new fairing neatly. As last time when the lower part of my fairing is opened the svc guys missed some locks , it starts making noise so i refitted it myself & all is well now.

        Hey guys came back from Leh week back. I took my new Beast this time ... oh man its awesome machine man.. It handled everything so smoothly on the trip. Awesome machine with and average of 45 approx in whole trip the leh Srinagar circuit. And the best part is it went where eagles Dare the M top

          Congrats yaar.... please start a thread and give specs about tires, oil, fairing status etc.... i am thinking for next year....

            Couple of days back i re-setup the NGK Iridum plug...removed it earlier way back in Feb. , now re-setup...its very good, more pickup...need to check mileage....

              HI guys, It is been a quite a while, got my laptops' screen cracked, replaced after a few weeks due to no availability, but i kept on riding my ZMR, now its 3900ks odd in odo.

              Fitted NGK Iridium, changed oil to 20W40 now it seems running more smoother.

              Earlier engine emits a lot of heat, thought it was because of the new engine but realised it was a problem. SC people dont know how to check the oil circulation, whether oil cooler works or not.. Yet to go a tour with the new oil, but got a feeling that it cools the engine a little effectively..

              Do you guys feel the heat as well?? I think overheating should not be a problem with the ZMR

                hi... My odo is 4500 km in which 2800 is trip tp leh and Mtop.... ZMR is awesome the way it is .. and I didnt told this I had a pillion .. Its awesome with pillion on highways.. only think I changed is sirac on rear and Nightbreaker plus bulb... both are awesome too.... only isse Is that if u do leh srinagar circuit be ready for some scratches on the fairing at lower points as of stones which keep jumping from tyres ,,,, rest everything is cool.

                    Well, it is Castrol 20W40, and I'm sure it is a genuine mineral oil. Just switced though, yet to go on a long tour with this oil.

                    Engine eimits a lot of heat wit the 10W30 hero honda oil, and it was too much that I started to get worried about, just y'de changed the oil..

                    Got a terrble feeling that I have damaged the engine by allowing it to get hot, as I ride this bike for more than 200kms without any stops in between, at a stretch...

                      HM oil does not seems to work after 800 KM ...i can feel harshness in riding......

                        Has anybody here tried Castrol Power 1 racing ?? - It's FS and 10w40
                        Want to know the feedbacks as this is only FS oil available in my area (As per my initial search)

                            The quoted price in the card (issued by castrol to that shopkeeper) was Rs.699 for 1L, but he was willing to give me at 600 Rs.

                                My Fuel Meter is not working . When i turn on key everything starts as usual like 188 on speed , full fuel on fuel meter etc. but after 2 second when everything on speedo meter goes ideal like 0 on speed , time in clock but fuel meter goes blank , no blink of low fuel it just goes blank . Last night it is working very good . Also there are around 6/7 liter of petrol as it is showing 4 bars. Bike starting without problem , no sign on low battery , What might be the problem ?
