I think those problem of Camshaft , rocker arm are also in the bikes of early 2010 as veryhiphop bro & dhiraj bro also got them replaced , & there is no bike is bullet proof i think , as each has its own pros & cons . With the similar kind of problem it seems that the R&D of hero is unable to fix it ,( as i remember someone telling me hero would be going to again HH not the old partner but a new & bigger , hopefully they would make it up & we get something new & big )

The reason given by ASC for dhiraj & hiphop problem are fuel adulteration , if its the true cause for problem then i think we must use some kind of filter on tank at the time of refilling .

Cant say like that bro, my bike make's some strange noise once in a while and now with the 20w40 the acceleration has also dropped, but even after that, I love my ZMA, cause one thing to be noted is that, no matter how rough you treat the bike, its still ready to start kicking. This bike is meant to be ridden in a special way and once you get the hold of that, then its pure nirvana, thats the same reason why not just anyone can ride the ZMA without stalling.

Yeah, exactly, service ppl refuse that there is a noise and refuse to even check. I think that they know there is a problem but they refuse it coz if they had to change some parts under warranty, so it is a good initiative to reduce the cost, by may be, Hero ppl..

Anyways, does anyone know what sound that is. My bike also have runned only for 10k kms, and it is very irritating to ride the bike with that noise comming through the gap within the handle and the fuel tank. And does anyone know why the left hand crank case(one on the same side as the gear lever) heating up more than that is on the left??

Threaten them, just tell them you wont accept the bike till the issue has been sorted, and that too in front of you.

Oops, my bad, when I saw the 'India' part, I thought it to be of inferior quality.

Denso India is now OEM supplier of Ignition, and electrical parts to most cars made in India.
Check your Alloys wheel spokes...you will see ENKEI in small words and Hero Honda in big letters in the casting...Enkei is the OE alloy wheels suppliers to Honda,Mitsubishi, etc.,

I know sir, have been a hardcore 'Need for Speed' enthusiast from childhood, and having played all versions of it am very well familiar with brands such as Enkei,BBR,Falken,Rota etc.

              OT.

I even boast to my friend's telling them that, though Karizma's are manufactured in India, the parts are mostly imported(Technically not, since you've pointed out that they're made in India.). The Carb and the Alloys are the parts I usually point out.

This one service center in Gurgaon, the master mechanic said the noise is completely normal... though it was clearly audible that the noise was from Tappets and when serviced at a Delhi service center, the noise vanished... though the tak tak tak noise comes back in 2 or 3 weeks after service.

My ZMR has done 11,500 KM and this noise issue is there since 7k or 8k....
Aah !! Even I am having same issue !! Service center guys deny to accept the sound.

Its tappet noise / cam chain noise thats building on my bike. Need to find a outsider mechanic

Try ,Fevi-bond,or any other Rubber based adhesive.Apply it on the loose end of pad and on the tank area and let it dry, then press it together.

psr sir my Karizma sticker is also peeling , is this fevibond good to stick it again ? or anyother solution
& ASC mech found some minor bent in my rear disc so they are gonna change it , but they also saying in factory ribbits are used along with the nuts/screw to pack the disc on alloy wheel & they only gonna pack it with nuts/screws , so it is gonna be a problem ? should i go forward & change disc or stay with the current as i seen its not a big bent .

@ luvurbike bro did you got that 50 watt hid from ebay ?

                          Yes it will stick...
If your Alloy wheel is bent it is serious issue as it can wobble and cause accident... get it changed ASAP since you have warranty

When it is hot, at idle, 1.2k RPM, not so much noise, but just as I touch the accelerator and slightly rev it, say to 1.4k RPM, I can hear a tak tak tak noise is starting to come out from the engine, it gets much louder, and the noise increases with the RPM and at some point the noise cannot be heard due to fairing noise..

So what could be causing this noise, but as per my experience it is definitely not the tappet noise coz it is different.. More like a Tak Tak Tak noise..

And the left side of the crank case does heat up much faster and the heat is much higher than the right side cranck case(side where the break pedal is)..
                            Anyone on this please

Disc as in Disc brake ? sorry, ...if it is the disc that is bent then ,whenever you apply brake lightly, you will find the brake lever pulsating in tune with the bend.....
The Disc is bolted onto the wheel with bolts only, and a new one will be approximately 1000/-...
If you have braking deficiency, and Disc is good no need to change.
