If you mean while down shifting.

      1. Just "blip" the throttle while down shifting.
      2. if that doesn't make sense. google "blipping the throttle". You'll get tons of information on how to smoothly change gears using blipping technique.
      3. In layman term. It means ...clutch...vrooom(twist the throttle)...downshift. In that order.

        • Need your Suggestions..

          Guys,

I have planned a long leisure trip nearly 1300kms from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam and back on my ZMR,So i am thinking of changing the oil my ZMR is 5k odd kms on its odo and have few doubts.
1)Should i use recommended 10w30 or migrate to 20w40 as the later is more viscous when heated and provides better wear and tear protection on continuous riding but stiffer to flow throw the radiator/oil cooler?(need experts opinion)
2)Should i use semi synthetic/fully synthetic oil instead of mineral oil?

Please suggest some good oil brands suited for this long trip.Thanks...

Go for 20W40,it will be the best option as you will be doing high speeds for long time. No problems with any other things,Will be fine with radiators, even there are some ZMR users using 15W50 in their bike without any issues with radiators.

Your bike is only 5000kms old,its not recommended to use SS or FS before 6000kms atleast, also for SS and FS oils, there is a chance of evaporation during long and high temp runs,so IMO Get Mineral oil.

Gulf Pride 4T Plus 20W40 and Motul 3000 4T Plus 20W40 are very good mineral oils and cost less than 300rs.

            Just my thoughts.

            • I'm tired searching for how to install HID for my ZMR.
So just 4 Simple Questions :
1.Does it work well (High Beam and Low Beam)?
2.Parking Lights = Angel Eyes + Normal Parking Lights ?
3.Is HID Direct fit for Karizma ZMR ?
4.Approx Price of the Kit (w/o Fitting if it's a direct fit)

Please Help soon as I'm going to Install HID tomorrow.

Bi-Xenon HID has both High and Low Beams.

2.Parking Lights = Angel Eyes + Normal Parking Lights ?
Swap it with SMD LED's,You can get quality 9SMD LED for 650rs per pair.

3.Is HID Direct fit for Karizma ZMR ?
Direct fit? It needs some mods for all bikes.

4.Approx Price of the Kit (w/o Fitting if it's a direct fit)

Local HID's are available from 650rs,any of the beam HID and and the another halogen bulb,The local HId's have low quality ballasts.

Have a look at this ballast and compare it with the one you are getting there for 1000rs.

Yes, 1000 Rs HID quality is not good...one of my cousin buy the HID for 800 Rs here in Delhi...and after some time it burns all HID electric fitting cables....including blaster...

                        Buy a quality product...

It will be made in china or delhi made . Go for bixenon H4-3 type hid for ZMR better go for philips , though its price is high than these hid's some shops sells these china hids with gurantee but they quote more than double money & happy to provide replacement if hid fails within gurantee period , that's there trick .
