IMO if water presence is confirmed in there ( check with a LED torch inside ) , better remove , drain and refit the tank . This has to be done every few years anyway owing to occasional drops of water in petrol .
Edit : Oh sorry ZMR has no carb , so correct that to fuel pump .
From what level does fuel pump take petrol from tank?? If it takes from bottommost point, then water would have already reached fuel pump and FI unit and escaped through the system... If not, it might still be there.. Tank rusting will not happen coz it will require both water and oxygen and there's no way oxygen can pass through that thick layer of petrol to the bottom of tank (I refuel my tank as soon as about 3-4 liters remain)...

So the bottom point is I have to check first is there any water in my tank and if it has escaped, then I have to search some options for fuel injector cleaning...

Air Filter cost is approx 250

For tank pad, i too was thinking of it..but i am worried about paint after removal of tank pad...it can cause a damage to tank paint ...i have seen this issue in cousin brother R15...

As I told u earlier they are complete idiots . At the time of servicing the mechanic told me that the bike is not responding properly coz there might be some issues with air filter and they will clean it or replace it if needed . 1-2 days after servicing my bike was giving the same prob So i thought that changing the air filter will solve my problem . From where do you ordered the tankpad and what colour ??? btw how is your bike performing in rain ???
            I don't brake rules , I merely test their elasticity ;)

            • Get progrip or Keiti tankpads from Planet DSG,A good one will cost you nearly 900rs. Didnt heard of the paint removal.

i have clocked that figure quite a many times....and have also managed to reach 129kmph with a complete stock ZMR.
With a pillion rider (50kg) i have never been able to beat the 111kmph mark.

And guys, yesterday i tried Formula1 carnauba car wax for polishing my white zmr and also to give it a layer of wax that could repel water. And to my surprise it really worked well. my 8months old bike now shines like new. And it also repels water, like when u put a drop of water on a piece of plastic.....the car wax creates a barrier between water and the body!!!!

                    posting some pics,

Well RTR's graphics will be good but I think Black Hunk's graphics that come in red color will be better... Give them a thought..

Well for tank pad we already met today and discussed...
About the rain... Bike is getting dirty everyday.. Not riding much these days...

Nice pics there mate....Can't hold the drool I've gone to 115kmph mark with 65+kg pillion and lesser air pressure than normal... Haven't got next chance on a highway... But might get soon...

Have you used some other layer of wax after waxing with F1 wax or you applied two coats of wax??

Hell I'm not satisfied with it... Just wanna take it everywhere in the world... To the ghats, mountains, plains... But hard to find such a company who'll just go with me...
For tyres you can go for Michelin M45/pilot sporty/sirac or pirelli sports demon or irc or zapper Q... If you read this forum from start you'll come to know about experiences of all these tyres.. Most people have installed M45 (as tubeless) and in some ZMR reviews also (on other websites) I've found they change stock tyre to M45..

                                PADFOOTMOONY,

The pics are ravashingly beautiful. Loving it, will also try it.

Although clocked 120 kmph with my Wife. Myself (84kgs) & Wife (74kgs).
But it takes time to reach that figure.
After 111 kmph it increases slowly and need to have some clutter free long stretch.
If seriously looking to whack a Top Speed, downshift to Fourth gear @ 110 kmph with less throttle.
Accelerate with a crouch and then again shift to Fifth gear. Will cross 120 kmph.

May be not good for engine but it works. On a solo did 125 kmph.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(
