change oil...as provided by SVC...they will change not top-up

Something similar happened to me when i took my bike back from the SVC after keeping it there for a week after a small accident. After riding 3-4 kms from svc it stopped. I called the guys at that place. They came and couldn't find anything wrong. They fiddled their hands all over the bike. After sometime the bike started and I was away.

But after another 3-4 kms the bike stopped. I towed my bike with another bike ( an '87 splendor

) all the way back to the service centre about 5-6 kms. After checking everything they found out that, the plug on the left side of the bike just above the battery was a tad loose. They just removed, blew, and pushed it back again into the clip and the bike started. This fixed the problem. Hope this can help you

And one more thing. Why will FI burn a hole in ur pocket. Isn't there a 3 year warranty on our bikes?

Neeraj they are not a branded one...Only Philips comes with such LED..cost a 30 pound..approx. Rs. 2200

You can get a Chinese one from Rs. 50 to 500

Even if it's about lights, why not share?? We all know ZMR's stock light is'nt enough... So let fellow ZMRians have all options open here itself...

So I guess this should happen to higher CC machines like Ninja650 or Hyosung or Yamahas or Hondas or Suzukis?

Sorry to note of the accident, but happy that you and bike escaped with minor scratches..
Any bike be it injected or carburettor type will be affected if there is water in petrol...additionally the injected suffer more because of the pump which sits in the petrol tank,will get subjected to corrosion and rust,and fail.

I am Searching for the security system , visited various shops but cant find any standard one only chinese products.

Nothing in HeroHonda ASC , Honda ASC has XENOS one asking 1350 rupees with 1 year WARRENTY with no fitting in ZMR , but the same XENOS security system is for 950 rupees on ebay

rear wheel alignment

hi,
hd put my bike for second servicing at wakdewadi pune. the rear tyre was slipping even if a gentle tap was given to rear disc brake... i asked them to check the rear wheel alignment...
they initially refused to agree n said tht everything is fine..
when i insisted one of the senior guys told tht there might be a issue with some "central assembly".... later he told tht the wheel alignment was wrong by 0.5 inch...and corrected it in frnt of me..
i told him tht the tyre has never been removed so how cn there be such a difference?? he was just clueless.....

Has anyone else faced same problem relating to rear wheel alignment?

Hey guys I just bought a new ZMR y'de. The new version, Black in color.
Rode it for about 50kms. Ride is not what I expected, a little harsh, but I'm sure it will be smooth day by day..
This is my 5th bike, I rode bikes for 7 years and for over 650,000kms in total. I bought ZMR as I looked for smoothnes and reliablity.. And I'm going to do a lot of touring as well

What irritates me is that the engine gets so much overheated. I even can feel the heat through the seat. After 2, 4 Kms the heat is ON! I checked the oil level, it is OK too. Cannot understand why the engine generates this much of heat eventhough it is common for a new engine to emit heat more than a runned-in engine..
Does this ZMR engine tend to get overheated guys?? This engine has a better cooling system (air & oil) as far as I know.. I'm just curios.. Anyways, damn good overall pacage this is
