I enquired from a bike accesories shop and he showed me an Osram bulb which read as '55/60 W H4 P.R.C.U 12 V' and he demanded Rs.170 for it..

Is it worth buying or can I buy the halogen used for M800/Alto???
I am using 55 / 60 w philips bulb from around 2 months , so far no issue. But i want to mention i haven't driving so much @ night. Hardly 2 hours totally in night in those 2 months.

The battery is there for self start, and for headlight and brake light supply ..at idle RPM....
IN ZMR battery is essential for the fuel pump to start working before the bike can be started.
50/60 Halogen will not tax the battery or electricals of both bikes...
ZMR produces 238 watt from alternator @ 5000 rpm . As mention is owners manual.

      Above_All,
The one you are using is not too bad either. Are you BORED or BOTHERED?
Good Light will always be expensive.
Change frequently might not be too good an option.

OSRAM should not be that cheap but not heard of the variety.

      OSRAM|Contact|India|South|index

Please ping them through this. They will help you finding the Dealer.

At least it worked fantastic with me in Kolkata and had 10% discount with proper Bills for my OSRAM Nightbreaker 55/60W.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

Yes good light will be expensive , as i got philips xenon ultimate effect xenon bluevision 55 / 60 w hid @ 450 rupees. But i am not thinking to spend huge amount on parking bulbs.

How many guys have a remote control security installed?
If so then which one ?
I found a lot more chinese product except the one from ROOTS.
I seen a lot more 4wheelers comes in a security & remote in the key itself.
Is any one found something similar. Like the remote is in blank key so no need to carry the remote just cut the key as your in key shop & you will go with key + remote

                      GOLDI,
There are these two popular options which has mixed reviews
                      1) BLACKCAT 2) MINDA and another 3) AUTOCOP 2W

Myself using the Third One after one of friend in Gurgaon who works in Maruti insisted on using that one.
Honestly never knew that AUTOCOP makes Remote for Two Wheeler.

Luckily my Bike Accessory Shop in Kolkata sells them. Picked up the brochure and studied the Electrical diagram.

After thoroughly being convinced called up the Dealer to buy and fix them up. No wire cutting required.

Never had any problem in last One year. Use it normally TWICE daily for locking and unlocking.
Though have Remote start option functionally never used it.

Retails @ Rs 1800/- and got it for Rs 1300/- and fitting done by company person for free.

                        • Can any one tell me how the dynamic handle bar damper works? AFAIK the handle bar damper is like a hydraulic suspension attached to handle bars in super bikes.

It is also called bar end weights...the end weights are screwed on to a spring sleeve that sits inside the handle bar.....any vibes in the handle bar is transferred to the weight which acts as a damper through the spring.
