    • hey pals yesterday i got a weird experience with my ZMR. i had been to Borivli...a place in the mumbai suburbs...around 20kms from my place. It was raining cats and dogs. as soon as i reached Borivli and haulted at a signal....my bikes engine got shut on its own. i tried to start it but it dint. I thot it must be a low on fuel. so dragged it to the nearest fuel station and refueled it. But still it did not respond. I dragged it to a HH SVC which was arnd 3 kms from the place i was. the SVC guys tried and it started....he told me to go for a ride and see if it happened again. I went to the place where i had a little work...just as i entered a lane in that locality ...my bike stopped again...and then it dint start at all.....i then dragged it all the way again....arnd 3kms again...and got back to the SVC. He said he'll have to check what the matter was....all my fuses were fine....even my spark plug was OK.....the svc guy said may be water must have made its way to the fuel tank and that must be the reason. i had to keep my bike there itself and now il get it tomorrow. i just hope that my Fuel pump is alright....warna ...pocket mein mast bada hole hai boss....!!!!!

It may be a case water has entered in fuel tank...may be due to adulterated petrol...don't worry...after clean of petrol tank will be fine...

Installed them yesterday , thought that the mechanic will have to open the whole fairing , but he was smart and did it without opening a single screw/nut
Clicked in the evening , the glow is excellent , surprised at what wonders such a small thing can do

Don't worry bro, the water might have entered in fuel injector through fuel tank, the SVC will just clean the fuel tank and fuel injector, which might cost you approx Rs. 500 or so, i have gone through the same experience last month, it doesn't start and meter console goes blank and every thing get reset.
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

                    Dear ALL,
Had a talk with Dhiraj now on this issue. I was quite aghast to hear this.
This seems to be a quite common problem. How to prevent this?

                    PADFOOTMOONY,
Seems very similar to waht Dhiraj said & hope not a hole of Rs 9000/-

                    PSR & SRIRAM,
This problem seems common for all Fuel Injected Bikes?
So I guess this should happen to higher CC machines like Ninja650 or Hyosung or Yamahas or Hondas or Suzukis?

Does this happen to those bikes too?
Please enlighten me since riding not in heavy rain is not the solution.

Note: Had an accident today morning. Luckily everyone is safe only the White Angel had some bruise on Right Knee.
ZMR is real heavy for others to knock down.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

Yes prevention is there . Check the water drain pipe is not bent & working good. Open the petrol tank lid , insert a little water on the hole of drainage not in tank & see is that coming to ground through the pipe connected ? If yes then i think you don't have to worry , if no then visit asc & let them clear it.

Yes was wearing my Riding Jacket, Full gloves and Woodland Shoes.
The Auto which was coming from opposite end after hitting landed on my Right foot with loaded passengers.
Fortunately the Auto could have turned upside down but was saved.

After heavy rains yesterday my Cramster Gloves are taking a rest today.
But still got my old Pro Biker Gloves from the shelf to wear it. Lucky!!!

                              RAKESH,

The problem and nuisance of Kolkata is shared Autorickshaws & Yellow Taxis.
Neither do they follow traffic rules nor do they help others.

Traffic in Kolkata is very bad with these vehicles. Too avoid office hour rush I start early everyday and do not hurry.

Kudos to ZMR, this boy saved me again and was planted in the Bike.

But as all ACCIDENTS happen as incidents in a fraction of second and there is a blame game
Needless to say I also believe it was my fault and should be more careful the next time.
