Friends,
Reading in other Threads that Faired bikes have a chance of grazing the ground which in turn makes a damage.
This may happen in case of Big Potholes or Bumpers.
Happened to anyone here?
What are the factors or Ground Clearance etc. for this?
Since it has never happened to me or never faced any situation like this.
Sincerely want to know and intend to be careful.
Guys please throw some light on this?34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

HUmmmm...thats great may be i was a bit hesitant to pull in some more throttle to it....Originally posted by luvurbike View PostWell RTR's graphics will be good but I think Black Hunk's graphics that come in red color will be better... Give them a thought..
Well for tank pad we already met today and discussed...
About the rain... Bike is getting dirty everyday.. Not riding much these days...
Nice pics there mate....Can't hold the drool
I've gone to 115kmph mark with 65+kg pillion and lesser air pressure than normal...
Haven't got next chance on a highway... But might get soon...

Have you used some other layer of wax after waxing with F1 wax or you applied two coats of wax??
And no , i havent applied any other layer of wax....By wax i meant formula1 itslef..and only one layer was enough..!!
buddy you can go with mich M45...most of the riders are onto it and has given good results in all conditions. i myself would be changing into m45 soon.Originally posted by siddharth_ZMR View PostHi... gt my black ZMR a month back.. n already clocked 2300 kms... bt still not satisfied.... just dont wanna stop the bike....
M thinking of changing the stock tyres to smething more better in grip.... can anyone plz suggest something on this....

yeah me too had the same feeling when i started wiping off the wax with a cloth.......and ya with regards to the speed, i did not intend to reach that speed it was just an open road that tempted me. And i dont intend to hurt the bike to whack up a top speed....Originally posted by satyajitrc View PostPADFOOTMOONY,
The pics are ravashingly
beautiful. Loving it, will also try it.
Although clocked 120 kmph with my Wife. Myself (84kgs) & Wife (74kgs).
But it takes time to reach that figure.
After 111 kmph it increases slowly and need to have some clutter free long stretch.
If seriously looking to whack a Top Speed, downshift to Fourth gear @ 110 kmph with less throttle.
Accelerate with a crouch and then again shift to Fifth gear. Will cross 120 kmph.
May be not good for engine but it works. On a solo did 125 kmph.
bro if by grazing the ground you mean the lowest fairing base brushing the ground then i dont think you will have to worry much with the ZMR...it did happen to me a few times but the speedbreaker was quite a huge one and very thin and i also had almost a 85kg pillion rider when it happenedOriginally posted by satyajitrc View PostFriends,

. but in normal conditions its quite a rare scenario as the distance between the two wheel is well planned and therefore the fairing wont brush the ground
. yeah you must be aware with potholes though...as the depth may not be judged properly and there MAY be chances that your fairing touches
. and ya incase you have a huge speedbreaker then dont pass on in a straight line, just go a little diagonal which will avoid even the little chances of Grazing
.....( i hope by grazing, thats what you meant)

I am stiil confused on which bulb should I go for.
Yet to receive maa white beauty!!!
I travel about 20km daily at night. After going through the posts I believe the stock light is not good.(My Fazer has dual light)
Please provide me the details of the bulb which
1) won't blind out the other riders
2) provide more visibility than the stock bulb
3) won't drain out the battery
4) won't burnout the reflector
5) durable
Also suitable pilot bulbs which suits the above bulb.Cheers!!!

You can go try philips halogen bulb 55/60W. Comes in 55-60 rs... If you are not satisfied you can go for 35W HID...Originally posted by vicky3971 View PostI am stiil confused on which bulb should I go for.

buddy u can go with osram nightbreaker or philips night vision both 55/60w. the price of the philips nightvision is Rs550 here in mumbai...and avoid going beyond 55/60w or it may cause damage to your reflectors. I feel this is enough light for a daily ride. incase if you want a detailed info on the HId's and projectors. Just flip behind some pages you wil get a super duper info about it. here in mumbai most of my frens are on nightbreakers or nightvisions...without any kind of side effects to the bike. if u are ready to shed away a little more brightness then a normal 55/60w bulb (the one that comes with stock maruti cars) can also be used. but it gets a lot more heated up than the branded ones. but cost only around 100Rs.Originally posted by vicky3971 View PostI am stiil confused on which bulb should I go for.

nice to see u guys interested in the lights and all..
well to be frank i had done a lot of research as to from where i should buy the lights and everything, then i found a very reliable guy and an easy way out..
that is at : Bi-Xenon Hid Kit, Bi-Xenon projector, Bi-Xenon headlights, Angel Eyes, Projector Headlights, Projector Headlights for R15, performance parts in delhi, performance parts in karol bagh, riding parts in delhi, Bike Modification shop in delhi, HID light
You can call manjeet for your selves and speak he's very helping kind of person.
But i usually search out every bit of the internet before doing anything or purchasing anything.
So the above method was quick, reliable and you will be provided a ready to fit headlight too, NOW the only problem was the BUDGET !!
so i searched on and on and found this website : Online Store of Kingtech Auto Parts Co., Ltd
It's Based in china i guess and they too were pretty helpful.
So the kit i was getting installed here in India was without a red light inside the projector (refer pics) and for the cost of which was coming out to be 7000 at that time (P.S : this light i had installed roughly 3 months back)
YES so after being convinced and finding out about the credibility of the website i made a purchase from them and got the product well packaged and delivered within 7 days !!
and installed it and everything worked fine
fingers crossed

AND GUESS THE COST : 3500 INR for lights + 250 Installation = 3750 !!!
and that awesome !!!!!!
now if anyone wants to buy these, buy them at your own risk i can only suggest i take no responsibility !!
and the side led's the parking lights i bough them locally in Indore for 200 Bucks, but they r awesome !!
