Hello Everyone,
I am from Pune. I am reading this thread since past 6 month, when I was doing research for buying new bike.
Now I own ZMR (Yellow) since past 1 month and recently completed 800 KM and first servicing.
I enjoy reading all the updates on this thread. So I log on to this thread once in week.
Now few queries.
1) I want to change bulb to higher capacity - which one should i go for and will that cause any adverse effect on battery (because battery is only 7 AMP and not 9 AMP).
2) I face weird problem of seat getting unlocked (from day one) when i am riding bike with no pillion. after driving 1 or 2 KMs seat locks comes off automatically and when i park the bike if i forget to push the seat back, then it remains unloacked state. HH guys were not able to solve the problem at first servicing.
3) Rear disk break is too soft compares to front, so should I ask service guy to check that? so that both break operate in similar fashion when pressed.
4) Is there any way to set headlight beam position? High beam is too short currently.
5) Anyway to have heel shift as well on ZMR, when i wear formal shoes this friction is making shoe dirty.
6) Anyone using ZMR remote? I want to install it for safty.

If you can afford go for Bi Xenon H4 HID which will cost you around 3k and will not have adverse effect on battery.
Or you can go for Osram night breaker which will cost around Rs.800. There are many members like worrisomebear, dhiraj who have gone for Osram night breaker so you can check their feedback on this.

Never heard this before. Seek help from HH SVC. If still unresolved contact West Zonal Office to escalate.

Ideally your Front brakes are more powerful than Rear brakes. For better braking apply both brakes together. If you still feel that your rear brake is not fuctioning properly get your brake pads checked.

Headlight adjustment is done by the head light adjusting screw located below meter console. Its on the left hand side of your meter console.

Hmm.. Well I dont think you can have heel shift in ZMR.
I also travel everyday to office on my formal shoes it does not get dirty may be you can wipe your gear shift before you start
6) Anyone using ZMR remote? I want to install it for safty.
It can be used for starting, stopping(off), locking and unlocking the bike. The bike can run for about 200mts if started without key(using the remote) after which it'll switch off.
And yes it does make an alarm if someone even touches the bike so can be annoying at times.
One of my friend had installed this in his R15 (viraj_s85). You can PM him for more details.
