Without opening the crankcase, 0.2L of old oil is mixed with fresh Synthetic oil. Nothing will happen if you do that, but it may be that the optimum results will be achieved with draining even the 0.2L old oil.

thanks bro ill be using ss only. gradually after using it time to time the old 4t oil will be vanish.

Warranty will be void if you do not change the oil at service.

There should be a record of change of engine oil in the service history. If not, the warranty is void, even if you had changed the oil every 100 kms. With ZMR, it is not sensible to neglect the warranty. Anything can be happen, with many electronics (8 sensors). One of my friend now had the rear gas shocks failure and without warranty he would have coughed up 4000 bucks.

hmmm ok however i was thinking to change the oil after 6 free services as directed by svc guy. but its hard to resist since HH oil sucks.

You have given me the valuable reply,i dont feel like spending 25k extra initially for getting ZMR instead of ZMA R, I love both the bikes and in a great confusion to choose, so i raised a question.

ZMR Banged head on with a Taxi

Dear Friends,

Due to some personal and official reasons could not check X-Bhp for more than TWO months.

Thought that will take a grand Entry with FIVE digits. But GOD had other plans.

While returning home from Office on 03-Mar-2011 @ 8:30 PM a yellow taxi from opposite direction banged me head on with my White beauty.

It wanted to avoid a ditch and veered right giving me no option.

It was clocking some speed of 55kmph or more while I was in 35kmph in a one way dark stretch of the city.

GOD saved me with no injury at all. Some internal muscle pain and a little bruise on left leg below the knee.

That extra 25K is definitely worth it... ZMA will make you very happy.... ZMR will make you even more happier...

Hmmm I know the feel when you have to save your bike from these stupid strategically placed potholes.... Unfortunate that you met up with an accident doing that but fortunate that you are safe....
God only save us from these Indian roads....

Rakesh's ZMR rear shocks are gone. Anybody had this problem before? As usual, the shocks are not in stock.

The ZMR has been with me for the past couple of days. Had planned a 500-km trip and I was excited. Could not go to the trip due the shocks failure. I am quite puzzled as to why they are failed. Felt home riding the ZMR, but unfortunately only in my colony.

Really sorry to hear that. But the good thing is you have escaped serious injuries. Bike can be repaired to brand new condition, its just a matter of time and money!

I never heard that before. what exactly do you mean by shocks are gone? shocks are left without gas, or are they physically broken??

and regarding the stock. Visit the mody service center at RP Rd sec'bad. The spare parts person assured me that even if the part is out of stock, they'll get it within a week.
