M sorry wht exactly wud u mean by reflector pics ?
Do u mean like a close up to the reflector ?
and yes actually Your point no. 2 n 3 is the same, as in High Beam actually is All lights max on..

And yes brother i'd also like to tell u that in the standard HID's that we buy in market we get only one beam that is high commonly.
even though dual beam HID's do come.
So if u look at the pictures i have posted earlier there is another wonderful mechanism in this Projector type.
i.e. only one beam with high type only BUT there is a SOLENOID VALVE with a metal plate attached to it that obstructs the HIGH beam and cuts it to half wen ever u want a low beam.
so its easy and much more safe to play with upper dipper as its just the plate that moves.

i also have attached a picture for the same now

          yes brother.
u r absolutely ryt...bt i didnt like one thing with the black reflector...
i.e as the reflector actually is too big and i have the white zmr.
so in day time it looks a little odd..
and i was like its ok..will go with these reflector first...keep it for some time..say 9-10 months.
then open it again and paint it black
so it will be a nice change na

              • Hey guys I am using a ZMR which is 1.4yrs old, from last week my battery started giving problem while starting in the morning the console gets reset (unfortunately except for the total Kms!) I have gone to service and they said the battery is dead, and given me a letter & asked me to go to the Exide batt showroom! and they adds that the battery replacment will take atleast 3 days! Did anyone face any issue with the battery!

I have tried to search the thread, gone till 300 page couldn't find anything!

@Satyajit: Hello bro, how is the bike & yourself going, Its been really long!

Thnaks for the info buddy, but I am not sure if I want to keep the bike in service even if they are ready to replace the battery, last time I did that they gave a scratch on the tank, which is not too big to ask for a replacment or too small for me to ignore about that!

                    • Running in procedure

                      Hi,
I got a 2011 White ZMR last week. Can you help me by giving a proper procedure for running-in, like rpm to be maintained, oil change timings, extra precautions etc. I have a small issue. The gear shifting is not smooth. I find it a little bit difficult to shift gears. How can i correct it. Till date i have done 250 kms and done one oil change at 200. Its really hard to keep the speed below 50. Is it ok? On very few occasions i crossed 3.5K rpm for overtaking but never crossed 4k. But few of my friends say that these bikes are designed for higher rpm. If i keep it below 4k during run-in then i may not get good performance in future. All i want is a butter smooth engine and gearbox with a decent performance. Please give me run-in tips for getting such engine and gearbox.
                      Thanks,
                      Arunn.

                      • ZMR Insurance

Hi Guys. I've been out of country for a vacation for a couple of months. So couldn't contribute to the community.

My ZMR's iffko tokyo insurance has expired a month back. I want to insure my bike. Can you guys suggest me which insurance company to go for? Which company is giving the maximum %age on plastic parts?

From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

                          Congrats for your new ZMR!

Keep your bike under 4k rpm and 40km/h till 500kms,avoid sudden accelerations, overtakings, and riding with pillion, etc.

As your bike is new, gears will be hard,It will get smooth after 3 or 4 services. Nothing to worry,Its common on most new bikes.

Its hard to keep these bikes under 50 man! Ride @ 40km/h till 500kms, after that vary your speed from 40-70km/h and try to keep your rpm with in 4-4.5k.
Do next oil change @ 500kms and then @ 1000kms.

Didnt heard of this before. Never mind bro,Follow these instructions ,you engine will be safe in your chassis. If you want to ensure maximum life and mileage,Ride under 80/h till 2000kms.

Bro even i had a batt issue and got it replaced, but it took time as in around ammonth or so, so i got the battery feom my zmr and gave it to the svc guys so my bike was with me only but dead!!! As the zmr batt usually is not available as a service batt with the svc guys so the bike has to be dead when the batt is out!! So once the batt is replaced u can collect it and then get it home and connect it urself!!!

Don't trust on your friend , though its hard to keep under 50 , but follow it untill 1000 kms & below 80 upto 2000 kms , some time give it somewhat boost. Gears will become smooth after couple of servicings. For oil changing i myself not sure
