After installing filter i have posted my experience. Top speed i stil did not check
tire pressure was 29 and 33psi
    petrol was about 5lts
i tested in the highway before taking deviation to nandhi hills

Things to check, since you're planning a Mysore ride too.
    1. Air filter
    2. Tire pressure
    3. Oil Quality.
mysore trip in about 2 weeks
how to check air filter and oil quality
i am using the regular companies specified oil

Take care of the above 3 and you'll be fine.

Now, other things that are often not taken into account.
    1. Amount of fuel in tank. (<4 litres gives better performance w.r.t >7-8 litres)
    about 5 lts
    2. Did you crouch or not?
    i croched
    3. Were you wearing loose pants/cargos?
    no
    4. Did you always upshift at 6.5k to 7k RPM?
i upshifted at 6.5k at all gears

    You shall find answers.

Ok, then it may be that you need to get the air filter checked.
Ideally, one has to replace the air filter every 8-10k kms for best performance.

Its located beneath your seat on the left side (opposite to the battery).
For the engine oil, which oil are you using?

Change oil every 2k kms in case it is mineral.
Use only 10w30/15w40/20w40 oil in your bike.
Change @3500-4k kms in case it's synthetic.

For the time being, just pour out a little oil from the bike (take it any mechanic), say 20 ml and see. If the color is deep brown/black or the oil seems to have lost its viscosity, replace it right away!
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!

Although clocked 127 Kmph also in the earlier days.
So it is fairly possible but after 115 Kmph the increment is slow and steady and need to have a very long open stretch!!!
oh ok bro.. but frankly speaking this is the first time tat am hearing the idea of buying a tube tyre and using it after removing the tube sounding little odd for me

the Hero oil doesnt last 2k kms, for best results change oil every 1000kms, synthetic and semi synthetic could last around 2k or so, but the cost could be high and i personally wont run them for 3k or 4k kms..

i am very disappointed with the top speed of my zmr
yesterday i had gone for a one day trip to nandhi hills to check the top speed of the bike after a very long time but it has disappointed me with only 120 kms without a pillion,it reached 118km with ease and 119 km was achieved in another 2 seconds but 120 kms was a big task i had to wait for a slope but it did not cross 120kms and also i did not get a long stretch whenever i reached 120 kms i had to slow down because of the traffic or the uphill but i felt there was no power left to go any further
what may be the reason to this, i had touched 124 previously with ease some years back and also knew some power was left in the bike to touch 130kms.
but i was really happy with the initial pick up,it did 0-60 in 3-3.5 secs and this is a fact unlike the other bikes
is there any problem with the bike
to add to my worries, guys have posted that they have touched 125,127 with a pillion
            guys please help me
couple of things to achieve good top end:

            clean chain and sprockets
            no over size tyre
            correct air pressure in tyres
            every gear pulled well
            clean air filter
            your weight
in direction of wind or against

suggestion: pressure wash sprockets chain, clean using petrol or diesel., use wd40 and then oil and take a spin back

                    6K on mineral?
Didn't you change oil in between? Bro, if you're using mineral oil, please ensure that you "replace" the oil every 2000 kms.

Foe semi-synthetic, increase it to 3k kms and for synthetic - 4k.
Shell AX7 10w40 is semi synthetic, right?
Its good. Expect it to go bad in 3k kms of highway touring and around 2.5k kms of 100% city riding.

                        Bro SHIVAKRISH,

                        Where do you stay?
Just go and get a MOBIL1 10W40 Full Synthetic.
Trust me 100% peace of mind!!!
Your top speed is hampering becos of viscosity.

Regarding Engine Oil need to decide on your own.
                        1. Want TOP Speed
                        2. Want LESSER Time Interval for Change
                        3. Want SOFT Gear Lever
                        4. Want to RIDE continuously for Hours

You cannot have all the above in a particular Oil simultaneously.
Need to decide your priority and decide accordingly.
Probably the best SOLUTION is Mobil1.

Tube Tires can be run as Tubeless and vice versa.
But the former can be done for specific Brands only while the latter can be done for all.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

                          +1 to the entire post.
20w40 is thicker (in layman terms) than 10w40. Hence, you'll compromise on the top end a bit. But, it'll reduce the vibes to a better extent.

As Satyajit dada said, try Mobil1 10w40 FS. The oil is costly, a pre 2012 bottle would cost you back by 850/- bucks, and the newer one by 1200/-.

                          I'm using the same!
But, you get to touch all the goodies.
                          1. Minimum vibes. (Noticed it post 95 kmph)
                          2. Smooth shifts.
                          3. Managed 122 kmph on NICE stretch in Bangalore, had little more juice but I stopped to pee on the roadside.
                          4. Excellent pick up. I guess I can hit 0-60 in 4.5 sec approx.
                          5. Mileage - 41 in city, 46 on highways.
                          Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

+1 to that. Dear Shivkrsh....if you're going by the sticker on your tank/the manual that says top-up every 2000kms and 6000kms for oil change, rest be assured that you might be saving oil (and the environment) but damaging your engine with the re-circulating of the super-used engine oil and eventually harming the environment again!

With mineral, try NOT to stretch the drain interval beyond 1500kms at max. If using OEM Engine oil, 1000-1100 kms is the max you can do with.
